No way. 243 is the strength and minimum 122 is required for majority. Their tally if all goes well only adds 112. How will you make up the remaining numbers ?? On the other hand Lalu alliance has 114 at best and the rest can be made up with Left.

appreciate congress gave 55seats to young ppl who are below 35 and 30% to woman and 2/3 of congress candidate are having degree with less criminal charge.
Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded the maximum number of candidates with a criminal record. Out of the 87 BJP candidates who have filed their nominations so far, 41 have criminal cases pending against them. The Congress has fielded 122 candidates; 9 have criminal cases pending against them. Of the 118 candidates fielded by the Rashtriya Janata Dal, 22 are facing criminal cases The RJD's ally Lok Janshakti Party has fielded 67 candidates; 13 of them are tainted. The Janata Dal - United has fielded 132 candidates; 31 of them have criminal cases against them. source: tinyurlDOTcom/28oko6l
With social engineering being the buzzword in the Bihar polls, the Congress has undertaken a delicate balancing act in giving representation to various castes and communities in its ticket distribution exercise. The party has attempted to break new ground while retaining its support base consisting of upper castes, Muslims and Dalits.
Reaching out to the youth, the party has given 42 seats to people below 35 years, while women have been declared as candidates in 35 seats so far. Hoping for a revival in minority support, the party has given tickets to 47 Muslim in 221 seats for which candidates have been declared so far.

Murtaza - Do you know Mr. Narendar modi is th best chief minister ever in india. Also when he came to bihar last time he got tremendous support. Now you are saying Goonda . Nitish is palying minority cards here. We will see how many muslim votes he gets. Every other political part like lallo part, bilas part & kongress part are appasing muslim for vote.
These elections will be Litmus test for Rahul. The media, the Congress slaves who chants the Rahul baba's Mantra for the past 2 years, These elections will tell them the answer. Lets see, how much rahul will succeed.

If Congress improves its tally, Rahul succeeds. If BJP loses more, Gadkari fails. Agree? Or this is a Rahul-only-litmus test conducted by Gadkari?
judging the track record of Lalu and paswan & others, people of bihar do not have any choice except nitish. although i belong to uttarakhand, yet i am very much concerned about bihari janta because they are very hardworking. the bihar netas knows that if they make bihari janta self sufficient than who will vote for them. surprisingly the land of Sri Lal bahadur shastri, jai prakash narain is not able to deliver a neta of this calibre.
ppl are writing here, many good for congs. but I wonder if any of them are ppl of Bihar.. who will have a final say in this fair election.. Has anyone visited bihar in the last two or three years to give any comment..
