Media is going horribly wrong once again
by Borowiack on Oct 20, 2010 11:40 AM  | Hide replies

I do not think these opinion polls have got it right. They are going to go horribly wrong once again. It will be a very tough fight in Bihar and I sense that Lalu team might scrape through in the end. Though Nitish can be credited with development and better maintenance of law and order, yet Bihar caste calculations are much more complex and the Yadavs who are the largest castes here will root all out for Lalu combined with the Muslim and Dalit vote which will make this alliance formidable. Media will realize this once the results are out.

Development was an alien word for Indian Politics and it is Modi who actually did a commendable job and now rest are trying to following which is good.
As far as Bihar is concerned, evenif Nitish builds 2 toilets in Bihar , it would be considered as development as earlier CMs did nothing except producing kids ..

I somehow admire Nitish for his non secular non communal agenda of governance. He takes everyone into confidence before he makes a policy. Otherwise how could BJP run piggyback on him for the last 5 years? Nitish is the future of this country. HE attracts awe and envy from his detractors and foes alike. What's more, he's trying to cleanup the mess Lalloooo created through his wife's proxy government a few years ago. I only wish people stop comparing Nitish with the clone of Hitler - Modi. Modi and Nitish are not comparable at all.

The word "development" , "able administrator" etc etc came into Indian politics due to Modi... Noone can take credit for it including Nitish.
When you say taking all together, you mean "Muslims" ? right ? But that is Nitish' compulsion as Bihar has 20% population of Muslims.
Modi follows "development " mantra without any discrimination ... Muslims in Gujarat do much better than Muslims in Bihar...
So before you open ur big mouth , think deeper...
