The accuracy of these Opinion polls are there for every one to see. But yet, one can only hope that this opinion poll turns out right.
The statement indicating surprise at the loss for Lalu and Paswan is totally incorrect. There is nothing to be surprised about. If this really happens, it will be clear that, one cannot fool all the people all the time. The end of this alliance seems to be closer than ever. That can only be good for Bihar as shown by the NDA rule. The "secualrists" have only one complaint that Nitesh Kumar has aligned with BJP. If that brings in development, what is wrong? What has been the development in Bihar when Lalu's term ended?

Then why can't he snap ties with BJP? Then he can't become CM again, since BJP will play spoilsport by bringing Ayodhya, Modi etc and consolidate hindu votes. Its clear that both Nitish & BJP are afraid of each other, not like only BJP is wary of Nitish.

Lalu's major capability was that he used the Media very well. He gained free publicity with his comic actions.

South Indian, Considering what you have in your cranium ... an adult pampers would be more suited !! Moron have political stances but dont pukecrap on this board ....
There are two Nitish, the administrator and than the politician, as administrator he is excellent, as par with any-other best CM, but as a politician he can't be trusted like Navin Pattanik.
and thats what I am worried, he will sooner or later align with Congress and let the development of Bihar a slip.

appreciate congress gave 55seats to young ppl who are below 35 and 30% to woman and 2/3 of congress candidate are having degree with less criminal charge.
Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded the maximum number of candidates with a criminal record. Out of the 87 BJP candidates who have filed their nominations so far, 41 have criminal cases pending against them. The Congress has fielded 122 candidates; 9 have criminal cases pending against them. Of the 118 candidates fielded by the Rashtriya Janata Dal, 22 are facing criminal cases The RJD's ally Lok Janshakti Party has fielded 67 candidates; 13 of them are tainted. The Janata Dal - United has fielded 132 candidates; 31 of them have criminal cases against them. source: tinyurlDOTcom/28oko6l
With social engineering being the buzzword in the Bihar polls, the Congress has undertaken a delicate balancing act in giving representation to various castes and communities in its ticket distribution exercise. The party has attempted to break new ground while retaining its support base consisting of upper castes, Muslims and Dalits.
Reaching out to the youth, the party has given 42 seats to people below 35 years, while women have been declared as candidates in 35 seats so far. Hoping for a revival in minority support, the party has given tickets to 47 Muslim in 221 seats for which candidates have been declared so far.

Do not see for whom they have given seat and at percentage. People will be intrested what they will going to deliver after coming to power. Do you think that condition of Yadav has been improved in tenure of Lallu ji? He looted Bihar and turned to be richest person and condition of Yadave has been worsen in his tenure. What was used of electing Lallu ji?Judge on basis of canditate not on his gender, caste or religion.

More than double the seats. Nor significant? Why you guys expect that Rahul can win anything very easily? Even Congressmen don't believe so!

giveanid , The base value is so so so low !! What was Rahul's objective . Be a big player in the oppostion or win power ?? India remains a 3rd rate nation because it is full of 4th Rate people admiring 3 rates !!

from a strength of 9 MLAs if they can win anything around 30 MLAs it is big improvement.. and there is chance that they may even touch a 40-50 mark because this time congress gave tickets to a lot of young people...

You are moron ... South Indian. If Rahul Gandhi thinks like you he would also be a moron !! Political parties controlled by a future PM of this country are not in the business of winning 30 seats in an assembly of 243 seats !! Go take a walk on some railway track !!
Let the opinion poll be done by Nitish himself or BJP. Then the projections will show 243 seats out of 243 for Nitish/BJP. This is a routine practice adopted by BJP before elections to fool people.
We can understand some fellows' irritation in this forum. They criticise BJP to forgegt the wound of Tamil Nadu where Cong is li.king the feet of DMK and DMK in return is not giving anything. Cannot talk about Spectrum also. Running behind Omar Abdullah and Mamta even if they show their footwear. Stooping to the extent of not hanging people like Afzal Guru In Bihar if Nitish wins it is due to BJP support which is supported by the upper caste. Even without minority votes Nitish can win. Anyway minority will run behind Congress and Lalu only.

BJP is doing exactly what Congress is doing in Tamil Nadu, licking the feet of Nitish

In TN, Congress is supporting from the outside. But in Bihar BJP is in the Govt. That makes alot of difference and should tell you that you are wrong. What is seen on the surface is not necessarily right. That is why it is called politics.

Nitish doesnt need BJP support man. He wanted you to go away and thats why he returned your money and ordered ur superman not to set his foot in Bihar. Yet you didnt leave, then what he can do?

I am an idiot and you are intelligent. It is south Indians who are bringing Nobel prize, Oscar and patriotic like Dr. Abdul Kalaam. Nitish alone will not get sufficient majority and if he joins with Congress he will loose his identity. BJP will also will improve its tally. Let us see.
