I hail from BIHAR! The basic, essential and foremost thing required to drive growth, prosperity etc. is Infrastructure.. ie. Roads etc.
In Pre - Nitish era (Laluji-Rabriji period), one KM on a State Highway uesed to take I hr. by a small car called Maruti 800. (Infact Maruti 800 cannot and should not be run on potholes). We used to search roads in potholes................................ Rest of infrasture like electicity etc. condition should not be discussed. Only GOD and BIHARis know their condition.....
But, things changed when Nitishji took over. Now, I can run my small Maruti 800 car at a comfortable speed of 60-80 KMph. Once this change took place, rest is follwing and will follow very fast........ I mean, BIHAR is set for Growth and Prosperity (which had eluded it for long).......
If Leaders are charismatic, energetic, visionary, clean and have a no "nosense" approach, the whole community, era PROSPER
Nitishji showed us this......... He will be remembered for a long time in BIHAR and rest of the country........

stop talking nonsense "repabuse".you cant stomach the fact that people are more intelligent than you and have exercised their choice against divisive morons like you who only thrive on hatred of the BJP. Bihar has shown as Gujarat did, and more and more states are, that the Congress and other divisive parties cloaking themselves with secular credentials do not have any business in governance. Good Luck to Anuradha Kumari and Bihar under the able leadership of Nitish and ably supported by the BJP. Hope Bihar flowers to its rightful status.

Foreigner:
Deserted? Hmmmmm.... I'd say well planned.... hence the traffic is optimum, unlike the 70 people a square foot type of development that happens in YOUR country (wherever that is)... :)

In Maharashtra, such flyovers are also crowded. Let it be in Mumbai or Pune. I thought Biharies are scarred to test the strength of flyovers !!
I feel very proud to say tht bihari people really voted for development rather than nonsense cast based politics. May nitish is also bias towards aparticular cast but atleast it seems he is doing some kind of development in Bihar. I have never visited Bihar but the people frm Bihar whom i see here in Mumbai tells the story. Lalu and gang forced them to go out side to search for bread and butter. I hope the humiliation faced by all the biharis all over the country will now end as they all will be willing to go back to there state as it is also developing. I wish Patna to be as good as or may be better than Mumbai or Banglore. By the way I am marathi frm Mumbai

Its is the tragedy of Patleputra that once at the top of the educational development in the world for Nalanda and Takhashila was degraded by these politicians on the name of caste and religion. The poor Biharies have to go out of Bihar for their bread and butter. On one hand this sweeping mandate is a clear victory but if Nitish fails to deliver then he himself would be standing on a very steep slope peak from where his fall would be inevitable and obvious. Hope he takes enough care to deliver goods.

Today at 5AM sessation at easter UP, Swami Ramdev too expressed same view.
Nitish Kumar is successful because he is neither a great economist like Manmohan Singh nor a scholar. It helps him to look at the problems his people face in Bihar through their own eyes and then take all kind of welfare measures accordingly.
Yes, this mandate is a huge responsibility and my request to Nitish is to enjoy this responsibility while delivering it. My request to the Central Government is to give unconditional support to him for his endeavors to bring up the living standard of the people in his state.
Someone in rediff has been caught napping when West Bengal defected to Bangladesh and Bihar had a boundary with Bangladesh...... great reporting sirjee !!

Rediff reporters and editors are famous for bloomers. Very often they come up with sensational headlines for often innocuous and harmless events.
then Delhiites & Mumbaikars Coz they realized it “Muslm-$hit-eeter Congress is the curse on this country” It is responsible for evry major problem this country is having. But Delities & Mumbaikars are foolish to have CONGI-SNAKE around their body.

MOST OF GUJARAT LAND IS GIVEN WAY TO REAL ESTATE MAFIA AND INDUSTRIALAISTS FOR FREE!!! NOTHING IS LEFT!!!
MODI WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GO TO BIHAR FOR PAST 6 MONTHS... WHY??? NITISH SAID THAT HE WILL HAVE MODI ARRESTED IF HE ENTER BIHAR WHY??
CONGRESS NEVER EXISTED IN BIHAR FOR PAST 20 YEARS.. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BIHAR MESS..
AS A RESULT OF CASTIST/RELIGIOUS FUNDEMENTALIST RULE THOUSANDS OF BIHARIS RUN AWAY FROM BIHAR EVERY DAY TO LIVE IN SLUMS IN MUMBAI OR WORK IN PUNJAB, ASSAM, DELHI -- ALL CONGRESS RULED STATES...

I can understand a hardcore Con's desperation. But when you make statements you should be more carefull.
Congress ruled Bihar almost 30 Yrs. They started Cast and Communal politics in Bihar. When Lalu played this card more intelligenlty than Con. He became CM with Con's support. Con supported Lalu for the creation of Jungle Raj in Bihar. Biharis ran away from Lalu-Con slums to Con slums.
Regarding Guj. I think it is better for you to go to Gujarat and see. Or you go through an independent analysis about Gujarat.
Don't make statements like kid Rahul. People of India are not living in 70's or 80s.

you are simply stupid to post last line of your... Biharis are intelligent enough to come above caste and religious based politics.. they certainly believed in the development and voted for it..
