This is not the way how one shld express his dissatisfaction. Accord 2 me dey shld hav rather protested by first discussing their probs with rly officials & if their demands r still not met they can run trains slow, any ways ppl in WR r used to trains running late. dey shld never put trains 2 a complete halt. Strict action shld be taken against such ppl for such irresponsible behaviour.

As per my knowledge motorman are asking for demands for last two years with mild agitations in between. Railways has assured to look into it and never taken any action after the agitation. All demands were shown the bin. Some demands may be extrvagant but railway official should atleast discuss demands like working hours. Do you know that at times motorman are asked to work for 12 hrs which could risk our lives
All mumbaikers must support motormen ...else they will see the same situation again on 15th'June . Railways must be blamed for palying spoilsport with the common man's emotions by false promises.

All Motorman should be sacked without mercy... It will teach a lesson for govt employess who jeopardize public life...All Motormens PF, Gratuity should be taken back for yesterday loss and people who got suffered.. if someone take this bold step no one will try to create the dare consequences in future.. even they will not think too.. give the employment oppportunities of lot of youths who are thriving for a headstart in their life and career.....Jai Hind

after a few months they will again come with a few new demands and we will go on paying otherwise mumaikars will face t6he same music what they faced for the last two days.We are at the mercy of politicians who conveniently twist situations to thair fancies
Kasab and his men took Mumbai on rampage for three days....Similarly the motormen and taxi drivers took this city for two days.. what a pathetic condition we had yesterday ? Oldies, women, children, ladies were stranded on every railway station... Train use to come every half an hour very very crowded.. What these motormen will get by giving trouble to local people ? Even their salary is hiked, what satisfaction they will get by making others in trouble ? What is the difference between Kasab and these motormen ?? Govt should learn a lesson now.. we should not appoint staff of only one region in one particular office... we should always appoint local people because they know the pains of the locals.

This is always the dilemma for people who are in public service. Please do not compare them to Kasab. Some of them lay their lives ( Like the motorman of the local on which Pipeline fell... He stopped the train just in time, so that people shouldnt be hurt). They have their own problems - Are you aware that they are made to work more than 12 Hrs. Will you do this, if you are asked to ?

They went on strike because they are Biharis.... Never to keep all the staff of one region ... they anytime can blackmail... Appoint local people, they know the pain of other locals.
