this reply applies to you as well, please read...

Friend, I don’t want to criticize any one unnecessarily. As an Indian I am proud of my heritage and traditions.

But problem is some of people in our society really believe that we were really technically very advanced and solved every scientific problem of the world even before western folks climbed down the trees.

If anyone wants claim such things they have show some proof. Four or five very cryptic Sanskrit/arabic verses are not called as proof in this age of scientific research. Sometimes these verses contradict with itself in the same article.

If you check nowadays technical research, even a small step forward is only possible because of some hundred years of earlier work and finding. Societies create very elaborate methods to continue their work for hundreds of years or generations. They create methods to store, analyze and forward data for future generations.

Only very few technical thing can be achieved from an individual work. Which was the case of our technical research history. Some of bright individuals worked on mathamatics, logic and languages.
Nothing more than that.

As society our earlier generation lacked all that essential to solve or find technical things.

Big Bang experiment
by Arunava Mukerji on Mar 30, 2010 05:52 PM  | Hide replies

Creation of Universe is described in detail in Srimad Bhagavatam . To understand the process fully one must recognize that the universe consists not only of matter but spirit or consciousness as well . Physicists do not make any differnce between matter and cosciousness which is a great mistake .
According to vedic concept there are two universes , one consisting of only spirit or consciousness and other of dead matter which is kept moving by conscious energy or Jivas.
Second type of universe ( the one we are familiar with) is a shadow of the superior type of Universe and is called Mahat- Tattva .Mahat Tattva is initially in un manifested form though it contains all the matter and spirit of the inferior type of Universe . Most possibly mysterious dark matter as encountered by the physicists is this Mahat Tattva . Gradually part of this Mahat Tattva manifests itself into matter characterised by 5 gross elemnts viz . Earth, water, Fire, Air ,and ether as also 3 subtle elements viz Mind , Intelligence and false ego , by which spirit soul is bound into the gross body and identifies itself to be matter only due to ignorance . This ignorance comes from the dark mysterious matter which is the cause of this universe .

A pseudo-scientist with half cooked knowledge is proposing meaningless theories. Dont say everything was there in Vedas. Then why had you been sleeping all these (hundreds of) years. Study physics deeply & then talk. If thre is sense in your proposals, send that to Journal Science or Nature. Dont always say PITRAM SULTAN BOO!

u r wrong dear. this foreigners took our scriptures and reproduced as modern science. exapmple trignometry was our own product. but we are learning as cartisian ( i dont know exact name) theory. then come to photosynthesis, creation of food by leaves with the use of light". this is also written in our books that the food is the blessing of devas. dev in clear meaning is light. in 15 to 18 centuries they came and learned sanskrit and transferred in their language and reproduced old wine in new bottle and selling it. we are blindly believing it. we r not conducting any scientific research here to believe whether modern science is ture or not. just reading their books and reproducing like an audio or video.

your comments are derogatory and filled with regional hatred..
why allege others based on your theory of foreign vs domestic etc..
When did you realize you were Indian.. You labeled yourself as Indian after people around you talked in that way..If you were born in Lahore prior to partition, would you be an Indian or Pakistani...
Transcend from your bodily concept of life, and elevate your thoughts..

We, Indians being super intelligent creatures are prone to intitiating destructive criticism towards each and every event..let us for once see the positives and appreciate..remember,little knowledge is always dangerous, and let us not be toads inside a pond, let us not be like cancer patients..

Lets appreciate, this world will shine with happiness...
