Our system is permitting all such nuisances, Govt. at centre, EC, judiciary is permitting to happen, as used to be in Kingly dynasties, what a joke, a caste based party without any cadre and succession is doing all. What a Ram Raj and democracy, no where can be seen.

I feel we should go the China way...what is the point of having the largest democracy???? at least in the other case, only one set of people will be corrupt...in our case, everybody is...probably the total impact would be lesser

Do you require law to do anything?
by Ethicsoft Ipoc on Mar 16, 2010 01:16 PM

It is pity to note that she quotes law. Is there any law that is there in this land which says politician shall demand money from others on the occasion of their birthdays. What a shame?

So what if I install my own statues, says Mayawati
by Typhoid Mary on Mar 16, 2010 01:12 PM

This goes to show how exigent it is to the enact Women's Reservation Bill so that what enemies/quislings failed to do in their life time could easily be achieved even before anybody could say JACK ROBINSON by 182 Mayabatis-EFFACEMENT OF INDIA.

Money, money - where is it?
by Haramohan Roy on Mar 16, 2010 01:02 PM  | Hide replies

Mayawati has no money for paying compensation to the poor and helpless relatives of those dead in the stampede.

But she has enough money for erecting her own statues or to wear garlands of money!

Shame on those who elected this politician!

There is. She will be out next elections. She is no better than lallu or mulla. We will flush the filth of India.

Sadly yes. We allow these low life maggots to assume office at our own peril cos there are people who vote for a bottle of desi daaru.
