Don't leave a single one. We need second freedom movement!

Don't leave these bunches of thieves, dacoits and anti-nationals. More than 15000 people have been killed. Now more than 2 lakh people are affected. Are these Con party leaders primarily not mass murderers?

look at the independent India's history - there have been mass murders every few years with clear ignorance or crminal hand holding by subsequent congress govts...
Infact, what do you expect from the govt where there are 30-40% criminals in parliament...why r we so surprised at it ???
show me a single case involving politicians, where the crime ended in punishment or jail term ? NONE..

And we want to beat China......!!
by devedas bhaskar on Jun 10, 2010 07:47 PM  | Hide replies

If a tragedy like Bhopal had occurred in China the Union Carbide company would have been brought to its knees and the compensation coughed up by the company would have been much much higher. When a US plane intruded into Chinese territory some years back the plane was forcefully grounded in China and US was made to apologize. So in this India vs China game we know where we stand.Lets not fool ourselves anymore.
Lets learn to respect ourselves and protect our interests first and then and only then will the world respect us, all this bruhaha about India being a software power notwithstanding..

Congress spokesman Manu Singhvi recommending Promugulating that Union Carbide is free and 1984 disaster will not harm . The Gas Tragedy case will be written off if the current owner of the UCC invests further in this country. This is a Clandestine Escape route designed by the then union govt. Now they just give vauge statements to shed of their involvement. Kamal nath & other charectors is included to destroy all possible proof of congress govt invlovement in designing the Escape route to Anderson. This poorly reflects on part of our country's Govt & Laws. Lets as an individuals culminate protest of such henious deeds taking place

Thieves and dacoits responsible for letting off murderers of more 15000 people with light sentences and permitting the main culprit Anderson to flee and free from laws of the land will examine the issues! Can there be a bigger joke?

One solution
by somesh rao on Jun 10, 2010 07:26 PM  | Hide replies

To teach Indian political elites a lesson, one good starting idea would be to put Mr Arjun Singh in gas chanmber until his journey to heaven. If public want, they can do similar kind of experiments with the other politicians. We dont need to worry. The official report will read 'It's not the poisonous gas but his age' that causes the damage. !!!

The Bhopal mess to continue.....
by Globalcrusador on Jun 10, 2010 07:21 PM  | Hide replies

The general perception in India is that if you do not want to take a decision in a hurry, appoint a committee. I hope this committee which is appointed will take slightly less than 30 years that the courts took to fix accountability. What punishment can you really give to Warren Anderson who is now past 90 years ? Like in the US, we should have asked for real heavy compensation from Union Carbide by now.

Politicians in India are the worst class
by vijaya kumar on Jun 10, 2010 06:49 PM  | Hide replies

Politicians, in general, and especially in India, are of the worst class and lowest species of homosapiens. While this class of filthy people have aquired the body of humans after millions of years of evolution, they could not evolve their stone age mentality of selfish motives. Whether the politicians of that time at Centre or in the States, all had their own selfish mitives to achieve. Some in wider context with USA, some local chimps of the States with Centre in Delhi.
Arjun Singh has always proclaimed himself to be a loyal servant of the Gandhi clan. Till he was shunted out of the government and ministry with great difficulty and virtually bodily, where he was continuing limping and with all his body almost in grave, he wanted to 'serve' the Gandhi family. This demonstrates that this person was always an opportunist and would have stooped low to any depth to please his masters in Delhi, when he was the Chief Minister of MP.

It is apparent that all the politicians during the Bhopal Gas era, including the bureaucratic and administrative machinery they were governing, joined forces to commit the biggest and most grave sin of their lives by totally ignoring the dying masses and helping the culprits to escape safely. Even the judiciary did not lag behind to dilute the cases. What bigger atrocity can the government inflict on people that they are still sitting on all the money that was to be distributed to the victims, but are earning interest while the people have crip

, but are earning interest while the people have crippled under poverty and without treatment! During his forthcoming visit to India, Obama should be taken on tour to Bhopal to meet the victim families personally and show him the horrors of the tragedy rather than just showing all the greeneries of Delhi and hospitality of Indian government.
This horrific event may have changed the mutative property of the chromosoms of those who survived. The coming generations are likely to be disabled, deformed and stunted. A study should be carried out to investigate this aspect and ascertain the damage the Bhopal tragedy has inflicted permanently on the genes, chromosomes and mutation adaptibility characteristics of the residents.
Shame shame shame on this inhuman and deplorable class called politicians!! They all deserve to be shot dead, although at the cost of bullets.

Why human life is treated so cheap in India
by vijaya kumar on Jun 10, 2010 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

The culpability and the shamelessness of the Indian Political class and its henchmen(read bureaucracy) lies naked for the world to see.The judiciary did not cover itself with glory either. Is it the kind of democracy we are living in ? What a clever game ? They charged Anderson under sec 304 after arranging a royal farewell . Then the charges were watered down to 304A for the rest so that no one will be punished in a case where 20000 people got killed. Why India bends backwards to please US ? It is a totally hypocritical country that has only business interest and cares a damn about lives of people outside US.
No wonder youngmen take to guns to fight a ruthlessly insensitive establishment. I developed a very healthy respect for prostitutes after going through the gory details of Bhopal. These people sell only their body that too as an extreme step to find a livelihood.
The people who manipulated a tragedy of this scale (just to please one MNC ) do not belong to human race. They have no conscience , no shame , no guilt . I wonder how they look at their face in the mirror each morning ? How could they face their children ?

Bring these culprits to book . Why Anderson? When you prove to be a dog who wag your tail for a few biscuits , you will be treated like one.Our political class proved no better.

The story does not end here. The civil nuclear power business is coming to India. If an accident occurs , Bhopal will look like a miniature sample. Our politicians are alread

Why human life is treated so cheap in India by our own law makers ? It is outrageous and the pain one feels within has no bounds.

Our govt.did not want to persue Anderson, otherwise they would not have allowed him to fly away ,even then they could have slapped charges on him and put out an interpol red corner notice as an absconder, and we would have got him atleast in legal tangles. But nothing sort of that has happened and the congree spokesman/woman wants to bring Anderson here, for what? I ask. Does the present judgement even name him as an absconder. To bring him back you will have to go all over again frame charges etc.and that would take another 26 years .so forget it.The govt.cant trace him with all its machinery and RAW and Ib etc.,but a greenpeace activist was able to locate Anderson in his house. It says much for the govt.s attitude. The govt.should have atleast got a sizable compensation from the American company. Some upright officer truly arrived at the compensation figure of Rs.3900 crores, but the politicians and their cohort"fixed' that too and the courts agreed to a "peanuts "figure of Rs.250 crores. And it is revealed that justice Ahmadis trust is getting donations from Union Carbide.Nice way to pay back for all the services rendered.MERA BHARAT MAHAN.
