Vijayakumar MP
Indian Railways
by Vijayakumar MP on Jul 23, 2010 05:15 PM

Indian Railways is rotting. With a huge budget this ministry is being misused by the joker ministers. Only good thing about railways is that it is the longest open lavatory in the world. Also the Indian people regard this railways as their own property and spoil it. Unless a strong dictator type of minister takes over the railways this monster will keep killing the travelling public.

Mr. Arora Must know----
by Debasish Sarkar on Jul 23, 2010 04:25 PM

Mr. Arora must know that the normal official functions, and probity in Railway Administrations had started declining since 1950s, when Congress Govt. were in full control. The introduction of corruptions, bribery, nepotism, and introuction of culture ob "Babu-Dome", whose functions were "No Fuction". The importent files did not move without receiving Bribe [Thus generating Black Money}. The high Railway officials used to fuction only on dierct dictums from their masters- the corrupt politians. so the decline of Indian Railway system had been started sicne our so called Independence days. Sorry to say that the trend still continues till date.
If Mamatadi wants Rail-service improvement, then she should sack existing Rail Board-Personnel, sack all corrupt high officials, plus cleanse the system thoroughly, and debar all kinds of Unionism from Rail way premises.
I have a doubt that the Lady can do these on her own. Therefore She should resign from UPA-2, and go to people for fress mandate. It will be more better if she Join NDA with fresh start.

Signal & Communication system to prevent accidents
by Srinivasarao salapu on Jul 23, 2010 04:18 PM

I think we have witnessed revolutionary changes in the communication & navigation fields. Whether the present system of signal & communication system which is being used by Indian Railways is upto the mark to prevent accidents on account of the signalling & comm.problems? Hon.Rail Minister & experts think in those lines for the sake of minimum safety to the railway passengers.

regards,
Srinivas,Hyderabad.

Indian railway ..sorry state of affairs
by Shyam K on Jul 23, 2010 04:08 PM  | Hide replies

It's high time Railway minister to resign and give the reign to minister from some progressive state...Railway's condition is just like the state of UP, BIHAR and WEst bengal. Till railway is under the leadership of thease state, it will not improve it's image and service...

railways is being run by IAS and other qualified staff on top. Minister is more or less dummy and acts as advised although most times pokes his/her nose and announces populist loss making schemes etc..it is moronicmiddle and lower biharistaff that is causing all ills.
