If Kashmir is given to Pakistan, its army will rape Kashmiri, much like east Pakistan before 1971
I have been reading this blog for the last two days and being a Kahmiri Pandit from jammu, I though I can add to this discussion. Let me not write long stories but put forward my views in bullet points.
1) Army may resort to certain violations of human rights in the valley, this is because it is very difficult for them to figure out a terrorist from a civillian. If 10 people are suspected to be terrorists, the army has to iterrogate all 10 and find out the lone terrorist. It may result in some discomfort to local people but only if they donot extend any support to terrorist would their problem end. Stop blaming Army for this ! They are just doin their Job.
2) Many of the Kashmiri youngsters, donot know what the Kashmiri pandits were subjected to 20 years ago. They were humiliated, their property burnt, leaders killed and announcements made from local mosques asking these Indian dogs to get out. Dear so called Kashmiris, what you sow, so shall you reap. When you did it, it was jihad. When situation has taken a 180 degree turn, you are crying like a baby. And mind you in the initial phase all terrorists were local kashmiris. It's simple, the youngsters of kashmir are sufferening for the wrong doings of their uncles and dads.
3) I have personally had a word with many Kashmiri muslims. All of them know that a independent Kashmir is not a possibility. All this hue and cry is created partly to get more and more funds and subsidies from the Central g

As a matter of fact, the kashmir fiscal position is in a mess. Hardly do people pay any taxes, any elec bills..corruption everywhere. Govt officials made a merry in the last 20 years. So Kashmir is dependent on Central Funds totally.
4) Many smart Kashmiris have moved to different parts of the country ( read India) and are doing well in their business and you would find many kashmiri students in Delhi and Bangalore. They know where their future lies. What is left in Kashmir is Pakistani backed Hurriyat and they brainwashing the local unemployed youth who dint get a opportunity which other liberal muslim got.

There are police officers, who falsely implicate innocents for making money, are bigger traitors than Kashmiri Muslims

If ever EVER EVER india is forced to part with kashmir...we will part with a graveyard. We are ready in the process to loose our lives. Kashmiris by now should have understood this fact, 1000's of Indians and soldiers died because of kashmir...did we ever ever thought of saying..hell with kashmir? It will be the same in the future.

Thats something we willingly allowed to pakistan have temporary control..even when they unconditionally surrendered to us we did not take back that piece of kashmir as a gesture of goodwill so that in the future atleast pakistan will understand the essence of living in peace..but they failed to do so.

sushma time to go and read history books and see news, rss will never suceed and so will people like u.
Kashmir is not any fcukin Muslim's father's property that they can say go back India. The current situation is a systematic brainwash of a generation by the failed state of Pakistan. Strong leadership needs to curb this menace in the bud.
Kashmir belongs as much to the Muslims as to other Indian people.

Most Kashmiris Muslims were originally Hindus. They are bigger traitors than original muslims.
The Jammu and Kashmir State belongs to the Muslims, Kashmiri Pandits, Sikhs, Dogras, Ladakis, Christians. It is not the sole and exclusive property of the Muslims alone as people understand it. The Government of India instead to trying to woo, coax and cajole Pakistan should involve the people of Jammu and Kashmir in dialogue sidelining Pakistan. When people arrive at an agreement with the Government of India, the role of Pakistan shall get diminished. When the entire population of the JK State is taken into account Muslims constitute hardly 6o percent of the population. All Muslims are not for Pakistan. Involvement of people of all hues in dialogue can sort our the issue.

Article 370 of our Constitution was a big blunder. We need to work to repeal it first. Then we should implement what B.C.Roy told us 60 years ago.
