Immature response from India...
by imran patel on Jan 29, 2010 10:09 PM

This is an opportunity for India to levearge other tools to highlight this issue.

Use the autralian players playing in India to be the spokesperson for our challenges in Australia.

This backlash is happening due to ignorance...No different from what is happening in Maharashtra.

Folks, please stop speculating
by UsualSuspect on Jan 29, 2010 10:05 PM

I see lots of people speculating about the various reasons why Indians are being attacked in Australia. Just because one gets irritated due to the seemingly-strange behavior of Indians or their stingy nature it doesn't mean that Indians should be assaulted or attacked. As far as I know, strange behavior and stingy nature are not crimes.

I have seen lots of Americans (whites, blacks, latinos) who can be called as weirdos or stingy. Nobody goes about attacking them. In fact, nobody even finds anything wrong with it.

Indians some times act too smart,

spitting on the roads, talking/shouting loaudly in Indian languages in offices abroad.

I had been to watch a cricket match in London between (India/UK) in UK, people were acting
like ediots.

Just imagin, if this happens in India, do you think Indian will be quite.

but I guess this is not the case here...I think Indians have started taking over their businesses just to gain citizenship. I was told by my colleague who recently been to Australia that among all the peoples (BTW Indians are not the only ones)who actually use these tactics to stay there. Now tell me, how many natives would like it? ask marathis they don't even like our very own bhaiyyans from a different state. let alone it is a firang nation and why shouldn't they do it?? alas...our people are suffering for no fault of their own.

Blame India first then Australia

If Australians are beating or killing indians why to make a hue and cry over all this? Afterall Raj Thackeray is also doing this to our very own UP and Bihari guys. When the congress Govt. cannot save Indians in India what can they do in a foreign country!

Difference is, our students go there for studies, pay fees, support the Australian economy to a great extent. These Bhaiyas, squat on the roadsides, create more slums, raise a stink everywhere and then try to grab political power.

Very good justification for the act of goondaism and vandalising the Indian Constitution. Go one step further; the governments of UP,Bihar and Jharkhand impose 30% entry tax on all goods "imported" into their states from Maharashtra. They make for the resulting shortage by importing these goods from China via Nepal. Perhaps China will also help them set up industries to remove their poverty. Shocked? Does it sound anti-national. Well, so do the activities of MNS.

Hahaha...What a strange logic !!!

Why do you think that the North Indians are not helping the economy of Maharshtra. They are doing jobs that most of us would not do.

The labor is cheap and they work hard.

The problem in Maharashtra is not the influx of other Indians, but the inability of the society to meet infrastructure demands.

Illeterate people can not understand good logics. Yes if UP and Bihar can impose sanctions for goods manufactured in Maharashtra all petels will go bankrupt and will beg in streets.
