This advisory holds good only for those who plan to go there but what about 1000s of students who are already there. What steps has the govt of India taken to protect them

first Indian govt. has to Protect people in their own country than overseas. Our govt. has enough problems of their own.

Those who r gone to Aussieland, Fear for Life, come back & if u decide to stay make your own arrangment of protection. Govt. can't go around protecting people in another country when they can't protect their own in their OWN country. IF U FEAR FOR LEAVES DO NOT ENTER THE JUNGLE.

Most Indians go to foreign with the sole aim of saving money and end up showing their notorious talents in being stingy and eccentric behaviour. They eating scantily and pile up each penny to the point of foregoing even basic comforts. Recession or job losses does not have any effect on living status and this is what makes the Australians irk and envy.

i agree wit u. all indians who have hidden agenda of giong to places like auss/US/UK/Europe must come back to india and contribute to india's growth. already all top brains in the country are leaving india creating a brain drain. They wanted india whne they are in difficulty, to get their education and support. but when they are suppose to work for india they forget that duty and go to foreign countries. this is a craze, which will hit back one day. that day is very near. Obama and Aussie are already showin signs of burden of indians on them ... lets be proud indian and make india a heaven, let those nasty people try to come here and we will teach them a lesson. the change tht india is waiting has finally come. I support external affairs ministry in asking indians not to visit auss.

Yeah, let's have them come back to India, then work for long hours, draw a minimal pay, and then support their families on the peanuts they make. Let's keep them underpaid for all they've learned, for all they've achieved. No wonder our brains are leaving us; we've just never learned to value them!

We are more greedy than any other culture. That is why most Indian people leave India!! Second, The wrong projection of foreign countries by Media!!! They are not so attractive as they projected. Once people come here they get stuck to be successful!!!
