Why people like to go to Aussieland?? Try another country. I was in Brisbane in 1979 for Commanwealth Games. I heard then Aussies do not like Indians and they don't like them to come to Australia. Now I hear this news. Sad.

Not all aussies nita. The bigger issue is the aussies govt and police. Racism exists everywhere. There is nothing new. But the law of the land is expected to take action and not hide behind lies. And media is expected to project all possibilities.

Have all you Indians read the papers, the Indian man who was murdered and burnt in Australia was killed by his own Indian people. Or how about the Indian man who raped a Australian woman after pretending he was working for a modelling agency. You don't see the Australian people screaming racism about all this. Indians are a joke, they have over 380 politicians who have raped and are criminals and are corrupt. How about the 9 year old Russian girl who was raped by Indian men in Goa, or the Russian woman who was raped by a politician in Goa and to this day nothing has been done about him. Or the thousands of foreign women who get raped in India and the police do nothing about it. India is a joke, I am Indian living in Australia I am proud of India but there are a million reasons why I am embarrassed by India and Indians.

Wake up Miss nita...this is 2009...not 1979? You are talking about what used to happen 30 years ago and it’s not happening there any more...i can say this because i am an Australian national as well as an OCI holder. The only place which is coming in Limelight is Melbourne (Victoria State) and partially Sydney ( NSW State) not from WA, SA, TAS, NA..so stop spreading rumours. Go and have good sleep with your granddaughters and grandson rather than telling others how Australia is?..Goodnight Nita Grany

This advice comes from the government where 380 MPS in the parliament are tainted with a criminal record.Of which over 100 have committed serious crimes including murder yet they are MP's. Never thre will be parliament in India free of criminal MPs, the lawmakers for India in effect are Criminals, east or west India is BEST !

If not travelling with parents, maybe they should. So should they avoid Melbourne suburbs in night.
When soome maharastrian ,bihario or south indian is killed and that too by other indian..Times now is purelty a northie media ..actually i feel it is owned by this kaur ,gaur family who is just hell bent on creating issues..that too fake issues..
Indian by an indian ? As if murder dont happen in India ? This murder was commited by an Indian though settled in australia.
