Yes, he won but..
by purva on Jan 28, 2010 03:00 AM  | Hide replies

Rajapakshe won the election - yes, but under a cloud of arbitary treatment of his opponents.
"Heavy military presence has been reported around the Colombo hotel in which opposition candidate Sarath Fonseka is staying, with rumours that he is not being allowed to leave. There have also been rumours that the elections chief Dayananda Dissanayake was under house arrest, and that one of Sri Lanka’s foremost private television channels Sirasa TV had been surrounded by forces. There have also been allegations of mass scale vote rigging in the Sinhala dominated South."
He just paved a path for a tyrannical and authoritarian rule. Sri Lanka is set for more unrest. This time the trouble is not from the Tamils but from the new president and his own totalitarian treatment of his fellow countrymen.

Are you going to give RSS etc another partition of India as you did for Pakis? The day you gave Pakis a country based on religion, you accepted the fact India is going to a Hindu country. Whats new about it?

What will you call Hindustan after removing Hindus?

Anyways, what makes you think you hold the key to what India should be?
