ganapati is the aradhya devat of marathis...instead of calling ganesha to throw his divine light on me, you better pray that god showers some wisdom on politicos of up and bihar who have done nothing for that state and still u people continue to elect them...what ashame.

i heard only kolis are real mumbaikars ... rest all are migrants including chavans and thackerays...
WEAK and selfish business such as ABCL (Amitabh and Co), Ambanis, etc like to continue in Mumbai WHEN THERE SHOULD BE MASSIVE industrial EXODUS to Guj, Raj or MP or even Orrisa.
Ports should be moved to Gujarat, Bangladesh(allowed by their government), Orrisa and even Pakistan (if we can have treaty with them). So we have 4 point of port loading.
Any pertinent industry should use Private tourist car on Phone call basis. They dont need a Taxi.

By they way I feel bad that you will not get taxi drivers license unless you know marathi. Exactly this is the reason we want ppl like you to be kept far from us.
Ne ways On the same forum I will heartly congratulate to northen states when they will prosper. My best wishes that all parts of india to florish, at that time If Bihar makes such rule I will not cry like you on such forums.

hindi and english media is sparing no guns in blaming marathis...another example of media trial...high time media concentrates on news rather than acting like supreme court...for a common marathi thanx to news channel continous coverage and venom spitting against marathis that now a common marathi has started feeling grudge against a migrant..

well said... More Marathis hate north indians since Marathis have been targeted in media. Marathis were the most tolerant lot and were taken advantage of. Its still not too late... to let the hatred die down.
Still now congress was using religion and caste to divide and rule. Now language is also added to the list. This will provide more years of rule. India is not fit for democracy.

There is nothing wrong to be proud of your language. But it should not be used to downgrade others. You can also be proud of ur culture and heritage. Do you see anything wrong in it?

There are so many azzholes in the country doing so many things. Ignore them. If some guy is filing petition, does it mean he cares about tamil or kannada. He will get some credit from some language organization or some political party. Who cares if a language gets classical language status or not?

That is the difference. Why use bad words for other language or religion people. I fully respect Kannada. If I live in Bengaluru, I will certainly learn Kannada.

yeah, i will do the same if i decided to live in TN in future. but i know such case won't arise. karnataka is great place and there are lot of opportunities, not many have to migrate other state for living.
but most of tamilan living in karnataka don't know to respect local culture, language and our land.

If every state implements such laws, then no one can work outside the state. Blame people who watching CNN-IBN and NDTV voted for such stupid rulers.
I can't believe some idiots support this domicile rule. I can understand that everyone shud know the state language, but domicile. It is better congress divide India to 30 countries
what about indian students who go aus for study and work as a tax drivers as soon as they land aus and steal all aussie local jobs. indian already took many aus job through outsourcing and we go their country to steal more jobs. anyway that is different issue and still can be related to sevasena and marati dumb sentimental day after day, few stupid people taking charge of this country. Both Congress and Sena has made fun of Marahti Manus. After promising job garuntees to and good positions Marathi ppl these guys are happy making them Taxi Drivers.
I can understand the condition that taxi drivers should know marathi. But 15 years of domicile to get taxi permit is ridiculous.
I know so many Marathi guys working in other cities. If everyone starts implementing law that 15 years of domicile is required to work in a city. Everyone will stay back in their own state.
Another blunder by Congress govt. Divide and rule for more years.
