I agree when you hire someone for your own business, you do not see to which caste he belongs but how efficient he is at doing the assigned Job, reservations should be abolished they bring down the efficiency of institutions and systems. Instead the backward castes and underprivileged should be given free textbooks, housing and fixed amount of money to help them find a Job. I personally feel the recruitment pattern of all the government exams is flawed since they want you to take competitive exams and get selected. You need at least one year to prepare for the same and then keep writing test for at least 3 – 4 years till you finally get selected for this kind of process you need lots of patience, persistence and financial soundness to go through this process. Apart from that the officers leak question papers to near and dear ones sometimes under the disguise of interview and personal assessment use discretion and give marks to their chosen ones, what needs to be done is minimum qualifications need to be fixed and candidates who meet the criteria need to be recruited as part time employees and given a time limit of 3 years to clear the test .If you clear the test you are in if not you are out. This would ensure everybody to earn while they are preparing and learning at their new Job.

HariJans are Gods people...As soon as Mahatma's body was killed...Kangress slaughtered all that Mahatma stood for..They made HariJan (God's Own People)...a Gaali....and his faith on Vaishnav Jan a communal idea....Self reliance was replaced with slavery of west...They are radicalizing educated Hindus who could see through all the schemes of corrupt and slimy Kangressmen and their leaders....who are ready to sell even their soul for few bucks...

all major accomplishments have happened under cong rule ... including putting India's first satellite into orbit

why cong? b/c they have held on to power for most of the time since 1947

In 50 years after atomic bomb droppings Hiroshima and Nagasaki became a super cities while still India is in one Hands and Indians are in the mercy of the white. So what else you expect - betrayal or success. The success of Indias accomplishments is not becoz of Congie, its becoz there are some true Patriotic Indians like Abdul Kalam.

First spurious and third grade material for CWG infrastructure, now 3rd grade material for missile programs, corruption in Spectrum, recruitment of Police force..Adharsh building.etc...It is simple shameful that Indian tolerate such politicians...It is high time..we invite Bill clinton or Obama to rule India...They are far better than Sonia or Rahul...If we want strong India then Bush is the one we need...

Remember an incident when some disgruntled men at ISRO celebrated the failure of one their tests. The govt should think of an investigation in a proper angle.

Time to think seriously
by Govind Lal on Dec 26, 2010 06:56 AM

This episode should be an eye opener. The govt should check the following.
1. How many top ranking (in their engg exam) engineers and scientists joined the Indian industries?
2. How many of them are attached to fields other than IT?
3. How many of them did migrate to foreign countries?
4. What is the number of top ranking engineers in ISRO/DRDO and such other PSUs?
5. Check the percentage of marks obtained by various candidates who are selected for these PSUs.
Check the recruitment mechanisms for scientists and engineers in such organizations. Seems there is corruption in this process. How can we expect a clean mechanism here when the top echelons are in deep waters of ocean of corruption. Suspect there is a hidden force to make it appear that India is incapable to achieve the top place in the Space Technology. The leaders at the top do help this path by enforcing the philosophy of globalization and free market economics. These failures are just the net result of following this philosophy.
Patriots and true Indians should open their eyes and see the real problems. Don’t be carried away by the brain washing by vested interests.

we do not have to doubt the chineese on every count.

the fundemental need is that every equiment that is imported do not have glitches and the monitoring of the channels, data and information are not accessable to the foreign or countries that are adversary to us.

it will be a good practice to ban such an equipment, the manufacturer and the country once it is identified.

that is tougher to implement but is necessary.

also, the monitoring authorities in India are paid and looked after well also monitored for transgression and leak of security codes and fall prey to corruption.

Chinese hackers are creating problems for USA. There were newss that they tried to attack Indian computer servers, during Common Wealth Games. It is in the interest of India to strive for self sufficiency on sensitive technologies. It may be time consuming, but it worth it.

Good observation, Mr.Madhva
The govt of India should note this message with all its seriousness. Google and Read the investigative report in the Business Week dated 2.10.2008 "Dangerous Fakes How counterfeit, defective computer components from China are getting into U.S. warplanes and ships". The American military faces a growing threat of potentially fatal equipment failure—and even foreign espionage—because of counterfeit computer components used in warplanes, ships, and communication networks. These chips are imported from China which they remove from old equipments. A thriving business is building up in China in this trade.
