Employee Centric Knowledge
by pradeep reagan on Dec 26, 2010 11:28 AM  | Hide replies

The Knowledge these Scientists have is Owned by the Person Himself and is not owned by ISRO. Only the equipments are owned by ISRO.

When a Scientist leaves ISRO for a better opportunity to US or Europe, he takes the Knowledge with him leaving nothing behind to ISRO.

The next guy comes in tests and explodes million dollar Indian Rockets and Satellites, learn how things work, Once he got what he wants, then leaves ISRO and contributes the knowledge he acquired in ISRO to NASA

Definitely yes !

All or most knowledge in the realm of rocket science, ballistics, avionics, telemetry & tracking, etc. have come from out of India !!

The Indian contribution must have started during or before WW II because the pioneering leaps in these areas took place during and after WW II !

Indian Scientists are not discovering anything. They are making themselves fit and gaining experience to work with NASA or European Space Agencies

Then why did you say that Indian scientists acquires knowledge from ISRO and 'contributes' it to NASA ??

India borrowed the knowledge from Russia. These Engineers were only learning how they work. Only they had completely learnt how it works. The are qualified to work in NASA. In NASA they are definitely Productive

A rocket that works only on auspicious days doesn't inspire much confidence. Does it?

Increase reservations to 80% or even 100%. This is the cause for failure at all fronts. We can get more intellectuals by only having reservations.

Get a break. You never brought reservations into picture when ISRO was succeeding. At that time the success was due to non-reserved candidates and now, when things go wrong, it is due to reserved candidates?

I may be wrong...but,we over think indian scientist capabilities..ISRO,DRDO,all r having samosa eating scientists..they cant think beyond, wat our competants did before 25 years..
to make one useless chandrayan, india has to pay heavy price(bought a wrecked/useless warship from russia).I fear,This GSLV failure will be a good news to russia,as india is certainly going pay them heavilly to get technology.,all our defense items r purchased from outside, all the MIG-21 were crashed without spare parts..HAL unable even give spareparts, after 10 years of research...
reasons
1.Indian scientists r not really capable of breakthro research.Any IIT professors article in science journal ,results are not reproducalbe....articles were published, bcos reviewer and author has good relations
2.Indian PhD in any field is mere editing work of available literature.
3.government really not serious of making indigeneous thing.reservation, state based, politics kills ISRO and DRDO.Junior scientists, who comes with genuine ideas r suppressed.
4.we fail to accept,as on today ,we r incapables..this makes a big hurdle..unless we accept we neeed to improve,it is impossible to improve.
5.excessive knowledge draining for past 2 decades to IT field for cut/copy/paste job.
Remedies.
1.Abolish reservation system in Science and development arears.have tieup with israel.
2.output based promotions/incentives..samosa eaters should be kicked off..job should not be like government job...performance only matters

3.Open universities specifically for this purpose, recruit students after 12th standard and give them training and education specially for this purpose.
3.ban media contacts...indian media is highly skewed... they propogate wat they want...
4.performance matters again not position..

if we dont do these,we ve to buy each and every outdated technologies from rUSSIA/FRANCE/ISRAEL/us
