Some fighter jets are so cheap that our Bollywood actors can easily buy them instead of Rolls Royce,Mercedes or BMW and present it to their Wife/fiancée or girlfriend.

very good sense of Humor... by the way your business not doing well nowadays, because banks started lending money more easily and on cheaper rates than ever. Its time to think about something else folks...!
Whatever l'il bit we are able to survive with our Air force is all bcoz of Russia's help. Even today most of the technical documentation, manuals of our fighters are in Russian. Many IAF officials are trained for Russian language. If no Russian support, we are crashed.

I don't think the Soviet Union really cared for Goa or India. They only supported India during the Cold War to get India to side with them against the West, and for India to overlook all Soviet acts of aggression. They also wanted lucrative deals from India for their second-class military hardware. Evey now and again for so many years, you hear of Indian MIGS crashing in India.

Absolutely...! imagine we still have foxtrot class submarines gaurding our coast. Its nothing but a sbmurged tin can which can oly make noise, to be detected from millions of miles away. These were decommisioned 30 year back by russia and we still use this peice of shit.

we should Thanx Russia & Blame our self for This all. Why do we purchase Old Russian Technology & not make our own ? HAL Tejas inducted in IAF had American GE- F414 engine not so called Indian "Cauveri" engines . what is the plane without the Engines ? Tank "Arjun" take more than 20 years to join force . There is no single weapon India had made on its own without any foreign collaboration . And Russia had always given its Technology whenever we have need its Help at affordable Price to fulfill our needs . Today its best example is SU-30 MKI & MIG series planes .
China has got its first MIG-21 in 1960"s & Now they r selling their variants in world under j-10 j-11 ,jf-17 types to the world when will we ? do we have ever built any weapon without foreign help ? Never . so why to Blame Russia ?

Hitler made thousands of fighter planes during 1940s and we in 2010 cant even make 1 fully indian made fighter plane.

If Indian Politicians provide even 1 percent of what they have looted from this country to the country's Scientists they can definitely make a grt Fighter Aircraft.You can't expect them to prepare a grt Fighter from the pittiance they are paid for R&D.Indian defence R&D is not even half of what countries like US spend.Don't make fun of your own country we are very very capable of doing a lot of things only thing that is stopping them is Bureaucracy and lack of Political will.Just think abt number of indians working in all the High-Tech companies of the world u will understand how good we are.Be proud of your country,It's our Country our Motherland whatever ills it may have.

India is making indeginous aircrafts its 4 generation (tejas ) we are going to induct to airforce may be 2013 and we are in equal partner in manufaturing pak fa 5 generation aircraft With russia sukohi

keep believing that we are equal partners India said it wont buy their aircraft unless they knew everything about it, this is after the soviet union collapsed anyone could say anything at that time to them, that is why you see this in collaboration with India

Tejas is Inducted in Air force with GE_414 Engine (General electrical, American collaboration). If the engine is American what left in rest of the aircraft to b called as indigenous ?
Can we call an aluminum structure without an engine AIRCRAFT ?
