With spineless politicians, corrupt bureacrats and the defence forces contaminated with neopitism and corruption, as far as India is concerned, all these weapons and modern toys are worthless. It is high time India started hanging the corrupts by their neck, be they be CM, PM, Chief of Army, Navy or IAS, IPS, Judges or babus working in govt offices.

The views expressed by Kumar advocating rash ation against the corrupt is so dangerous that if resorted to the step will leave huge void difficul to fill. Country will be devoid of leadership and foreign powers will be tempted to step in. There willbe total vacuum at the top leadership. so, let us think of other alternatives like putting up all these guys in jails, if space available. xznw2

Small nations like Sweden, France, UK have fighter planes....but India, nation of 120 billion, is still happily lost in mythology like Ramayana to boast about "Pushpak", the so called plane referred in Ramayana. This is nothing but a conspiracy / Propoganda of RSS. Let some nation invest XYZ and we read in our newpapers/magazines that "Ancient India already had that...It was in Ramayan/Mahabharat"...? From where does this come..? of course, Nagpur - the head quarters of RSS..The intention is to foolishly prove that how a particular community, dominant in those days and still dominant today with secretive agendas have led this nation very well. All Bahujan/Kshatrya/Dalit should be vary of such tendency.

i guess you would take pride in seventh century arabian ideology rather than our local epics. Dont idly pass cynical judgments. To take pride in our past is not wrong. But we are also simultaneously upgrading ourselves. ISRO is even preparing to land on the moon, while you are cribbing about destructive aircraft that can kill or maim thousands. All of India should be wary of people like you who have such divisive tendencies. Go away and hide your face.
Old saying is true. No matter how funky and cool these jets look, if they dont perform when we need them to, they are useless. So, if we end up buying some funky US stuff for our strategic forces and tommorow during war times we ask for critical spare parts to keep our funky jets going and uncle Sam asks big favours in return, we'll be in a big fix.
Its always better to develop our own jets even if they are a bit less than the funky features of these foreign jets. But in times of need, our jets will have all the spare parts we need to keep them going.
If we do still intend to buy these foreign jets becoz mms has to obliege maino's relatives as middlemen, then we should at least ask for a joint venture and tech transfer to manufacture these jets in India so that we have the ability to build parts if need be.

Mr Grizzly What do you mean by ' our jets '. You think the ones developed in Bangalore do not depend on foreign parts ?. First we need a dependable engine and accurate fire power. You think we have them (honestly) ?.

scientists and engineers are working on a fighter that will kick ass of all others. It is so stealthy that no one can hear or see it and costs only 250 crores a piece.
