How Funny.......
by Raju Das on Dec 02, 2010 06:34 PM

This 96 crore figure is just meaningless. It is arrived at by calculating the average daily expense, which includes Salary for Staff, electricity bills, etc etc, which are fixed costs.

Ridiculous functioning by members
by Shailesh Patel on Dec 02, 2010 06:32 PM  | Hide replies

MP's have been stalling the functioning for such a long time...These guys talk about taking india to heights of development. However such a behaviour is uuterly disaapointing. Maybe far better would be to implement presidents rule and let the government function in a far better way rather than have these hooligans waste countries resources

What is ridiculous there? Functioning is not more important than check on corruption and fixing the responsibility of corruption. Are you suggesting that even if corruption worth lakhs of crores goes on and let Parliament run. Hooligans are wasting country's resources since 1947.

BJP making so much noice in parliment againt scams but now have no guts to take action against Yeddyurappa.
BJP Karnataka Yeddyurappa named in the Rs500-crore land Scam
Yeddyurappa has done Rs 500-crore land scam. CM bent every rule in the book to allot land to his family members at incredibly cheap rates.

first they have to give account for 75,000 crores regarding CWG scam, 500 crore is in hundreds and 75 in thousands plus 2G Spectrum scam of in lakhs crore. If congress point its finger at BJP, BJP will also bang the congress.

This is a ridiculous headline
by Brijesh Tamber on Dec 02, 2010 03:50 PM  | Hide replies

Parliament is an instituion. How can one determine a stalled parliment's cost? By that logic Supreme Court takes vacations for 3 months in a year what is the cost of that? Sonia Gandhi and her family including her dog enjoy Z plus security even when they are napping at home-what is the cost of that? All technology companies enjoy subsidies at the tax payers expense what is the cost of that? This is a diversionary tactic becuase rediff knows that Indians are penny wise and pund foolish

What about the number of days Parliament is working? Why they cant they compensate otherdays for this? This govt indulges in looting and any protest in parliament is painted as obstrcution of the parliament by the media. The media forgets that Congress boycotted parliament for 17 days when NDA was in power and insisted JPC on coffin scam.

Where is the loss it is the loss created in the dream by CAG.No explanation given to that.
CAG says 26 times in its report it is an assumption and even no calculation given to the calculation.

Why not the oppn agree for a detailed debate on the parliament which will be telecast live in LS TV?

The real truth will come out.

Simply don't follow the section of the media.

But CAG report clearly says that Raja didnt take any action on the dubious companies which flouted the TRAI policy by selling the licenses within 2 weeks. TRAI policy clearly says that those licenses cannot be sold for 3 years. This is a open & shut case of corruption.

Well if a calculated assumption adds up to 1.75 lakh corers than I would be concerned about it more than my affiliation to Raja based on his native state
