It is surprised, even our Puppet PM Shri MM is a regular visitor of USA for funding their 2G, CWG, Adarsh scam and to meet daily expenses of Janpath 10 etc... the USA population doesn't know who is our Indian PM. I hope atleast Whitehouse watchman must know who is our Indian PM, because in a month atleast 15days you can see our PM visiting whitehouse.

Instead of solving into the pressing matters in India, where majority of our people are living in absolute poverty, without basic infrastructure, what our leadership want to achieve being a permanent member of UN.

It is good that world puts us in oblivian. We'll continue to progress economically without being mentioned in the world for good or for bad. Too much attention is distracting for a healthy progress.

Nothing to be surprised!
by girish naithilingan on Dec 02, 2010 09:43 AM  | Hide replies

Nothing to be surprised, indian leadership has done very little in the recent decade to prove its power, globally. Non of the Indian Government has done to even come into the international news, politically, economically, militarily etc.,Unlike the US or other European Contries, India has not raised its arms to flex its neighbours and keep them in command (Like the Russians with its neighbours). India needs to do a lot to be in the news and also to disperse its odd and win the global support to enjoy permanent seat!

Even Indians are confused about leadership in our country. MMS is not accepted as a main leader of Congress party for good reasons. We can not expect the world to behave differently.

being in the news is not always healthy and we can not be obscessive about it. Our reputation in the world will not be made merely by the high profine of our head of government.

But the countries like Germany and France.. which have permanant seat in UN SC, are little known for their leadership outside Europe, so what's a big deal with this survey.. ???

French president has the second biggest public profile after Obamas. But I agree there is no big deal about it.
