The worst diplomat of India ever had was Jawaharlal Nehru. Kashmir issue could have been solved had he permitted his General. Instead he internationalised it and left a permanent head ache to India; His another adventure was panch sheela: he thoght he had become a world statsman; But China made him lool like a fool and he died an undignified death. Congress party who think that a problem created by a Nehru that could not be solved by his daughter and grandson.

the decision to end the 1948 war had the full consent of the cabinet keeping in mind india's reosurces at that time.
the terrain held by pakistan(muzzafarabd and northern areas) was very difficult as it was mountainous and involved heights at 10000 ft.
the operation would have taken months and yerars.
he didn't leave behind any headache.
the un resolotion is not a binding one. these paks and their terroist friendss will just bark on any little thing they find.

Like the Britishers, JLN also thought that India would disintegrate within ten years. He wanted a safe heaven for his c1an (Kashmiris) and inserted Article 370. If SardarPatel was allowed to deal with the matter as he dealt with Hyderabad, there would not have been any problem now.
Even otherwise Maharaja Hari Singh signed the deed of accession when he was unable to save his rear end from the PakArmyMen masqurading as triba1s. Had Indian Army not intervened at that time, there would not have been any Kashmir for these guys to fight for. Then where is the question of "special packages" etc??

It will not. If that were the case British would still be ruling India.
The right approach is to understand their concerns and provide a fair solution to it. It should not be through mindless appeasement and army muscle that we did over the last 60 years. A new approach is needed.

We don't ask. Just force convert (like what was done to them 500 years ago). After couple of generations it will be alright (like what has happened to them before)
Please solve this problem earliest this way or that way because there is not enought time left because after kashmir,you are required to solve Assam problem(bangladeshees),then Bengal problem and Kerala problem. Please hurry up before other problems in Bihar and Uttar pradesh need your attention

Mr.Pradeep get your facts right, it was not Mr.Gandhi, whi agreed to partition but Mr.Nehru in the ambition of leading the country disregarded Gandhi's advice.
