not only maharashtra. Entire India stinks. Go to any city or village, its worst. Only the places where scoundrel politicians and bureaucrats live, its maintained clean at tax payers cost. People are spineless in this country. They will wake up only after a tragedy strikes and again go dosing waiting for another to strike. All the city corporations are only money spinners in the name of development.

It is because of peolpe rushing to Mumbai & flooding it. All taxpayers money is diverted to clean their mess & providing them shelters FOC. You are one of them. Why you are crying? Just leave that city & go back to (nature) your own place. Tell your brothers not to come to Mumbai as it is dirty. At least garbage production will get reduced.
This hue and cry is made only because it has happened in Mumbai.. This happens on a daily basis in areas like Naigaon, Alibaug or Murud.. where trailers dump oil illegally in sea.. If environment is really a concern then such daily dumpings should be stopped there also...

desaiji, if bhayyas come to pune tomorrow you will say make baramti the capital, then just before you die you will want ahmednagar as capital, then your children after your death will follow your footsteps and ask for Aurangabad as capital. after 2-3 generations of desai's, it will be finished. Because they would have reached the border towns by then and will be butchered by Kannadigas and Andhraites.
Then this shifting of capitals will stop and the capital will come back to Mumbai. And dont go by your name, you cannot be amar......
