The boot-licing Chawla is definitely the most biased CEC that India has ever seen. If the new CEC says Chawla was good, then it is a dangerous sign - yet, Quaraishi cannot be as bad as Chawla

indians need to neutralize kaangress, they need to take matter in their own hands....
Nobody knew EC had so much power till Seshan took over. I don't anybody other than a good south Indian Brahmin can fit these positions. Seshan and Gopalaswami are examples for this.

I do agree for Gopalaswami -- good officer.But Seshan is induly hyped -- he was nothing more than "an educated Laloo Yadav".

Don't know what being a Brahmin has to do with such matters. Why bring in such thoughts in such forums? The biggest problem Hinduism faces is the attitude of such people who even in these times think that being born into the so called forward classes confer on them superiority in all matters.

Well said bro. The first thing we need 2 do 2 rid this country of its ills is 2 deal with this sort of cheap regionalistic/communal/casteist thinking.
Hope he will conduct his duties with out favouring any one party. It is toomuch in India to ask anyone to work for country and not to any party. There is somuch money floating!! We can only hope he is good and he will cleanup the election mess.

It is more loving to read about Mr.Quraishi, the 17th C.E.C.who has a very wide knowledge on almost all the subjects. He is really a great academician and I Hope he would do much Justice by clearing the Electoral System from Criminality, Corruption, bogus vote bank, bogus ration cards. After issue of ensuing Citizens Card as in USA, there may be lot of Transperency in Voting system in this biggest democracy of the world (just with lot of population but not a Matured Democracy like some European, Astralian, USA countries.) We can say that our Democracy is fully MATURED, when Unemployment Allowance is given to Unemployed Persons sufficient for their Three Meals, Bringing National Health Policy, which will benefit the Poorer and Middle class people by Govt.paying Crores of Insurance to Companies in-turn of Free Health Facility, and also see that No one is kept Hungry. On the other-hand I also appreciate Great Scholors in Muslim Religion, who are too good, too humane in their approach, too philonthrophic, Bold and give lot of importance for Human Life, since in Islam and Christinity, they almost believe in only One Birth and no concept of re-birth etc. We in Hindus should learn lot from them and because of We Hindus are highly Corrupt, the citizens of other religions in our country have become Corrupt, as the saying goes, "When you are in Rome, Be like Romans". Mr.B1uffer, 1zlam and xtianity are more absurd than the EasternBeliefs. They believe in one birth only but wait for some "last day of judgement" for going to the funfi11ed Paradiiise and they think that by ki11ing the kafiiirs or by harvesting the s0uls of the paaagans they will get rewards in the lifehereafter.
