Shall we exclude religion?
by Manoj Dev on Aug 03, 2010 11:17 AM  | Hide replies

Most of us can culturally identify ourself with the new CEC; here is one who jams with other musician colleaugues; could still promote another band or two, loves the Shadows has researched on one most valid & interseting subject could complement Prahlad's Bottom of the Pyramid. Is it of any consequence or importance that he just happens to be a Muslim? Would rediff had pointed so had Qurishi been a Christian? Is it really necessary to point that out in an article introducing him?
We can never build our nation unless our focus is on person and person only, excluding religion.

why only non muslims think this way. why can't muslims think that being a non muslim is also ok.
the reason my dear friend is that even they study and get whatever degrees they think that the universal truth lies in just one obsolete book

like abdul kalam,Shahabuddin Yaqoob Quraishi. They should also come in main stream and educate their children in good schools rather than madarrasas which teaches nothing but hatred.

Totally uncalled for comment. Why are you bringing religion in a topic which is not related to it all.Grow up with your mentality of identifying people by names.

I wish amit saxena to be invited to madarrasas. He should go there and practically see the madarrasas, only then he will come to the ground reality and he will definately say that these madarrasas are teaching nothing but a real universal truth and the brotherhood. You go to one of the madarrasa and then you will definately embrase Islaam. The first step is you have to go there, if you don't embrase Islaam then atleast your mud in your brain is washed out after seeing the childrens in the madarrasas learning with out sitting on the bench or having a good food what you have.

INCOME TAX GUYS
by S V on Aug 03, 2010 10:34 AM

1. A retired IT commissioner who lives near my home has

been purchasing lands quite often. He has partnerships

with many builders of the city. Those builders use his

vast black money to buy new properties and invest in

their businesses.

2. The builders sell 1 BHK, 2BHK, 3BHK, 4BHK flats,

shops, malls and lands. They return the money invested

by the IT commissioner by generating invalid invoices

such as mud trucks, labor contracts of commissioners

XYZ firm/company. The commissioner gets his black money

all converted to white money deposited in bank.

3. The builders will never get IT problems in their

lifetime.

4. Also, if a builder does not co-operate or has

partnerships with other black money enthusiasts, he has

to face dire consequences.

5. Actually, the IT guys are more of mafias extorting

money.

6. In most cases, it is the IT guys who ask the builder

to invest in their business on their behalf some of

their own black money. THE I GUYS GET THEIR DUE LATER.

All started crying foul, before somebody appears to the stage. He is still an IAS, a servant to the community.
Pls. don't tarnish somebody, on condition of smelling from what you licked before.
I think rediff got a fancy to whip these sorts, before the staging occurs. Whether DOG or GOD.

He is our man, just as Navin Chawla was our man.

Since we control the EVMs, we need cooperative ECs.

What difference does it make whether you agree or disagree. You just need to go an press a button on our EVMs at the time of elections. Then go home and watch election result on our TV channel.

Good to see
by rohit gupta on Aug 03, 2010 09:35 AM  | Hide replies

In what has been a very de-spiriting few days in terms of the news coming out of J&K, it is heartening to see a Muslim occupy such a coveted position in India.

I hope this serves as a reminder to all Muslims across the country, that as long as you are hard working and persevering, India is the best place for you. Does this mean India is perfect? Offcourse not, there is no Shangri-la, but as minorities (albeit a sizeable one) Muslims could be living in places far far worse than India.

We have lost a great deal of time fighting amongst us, the time has come for all of us to come together, not as Hindus or Muslims, but as Indians, and take India forward.

Lets put India first.

Yes, Hindu or Muslim does not matter. Navin Chawla was also our man. We control the EVMs and we need CECs to be cooperative.
