It is definitely not for whole life. I think it is for 14 yrs but the person can be acquitted soon if there is a reference from the jailer(for good behaviour etc.).Also, the time spent in jail during the trial is also considered.So this bugger should be ideally be free in another 3 years or so. Justice delayed is justice denied.

I believe every criminal must earn their living by breaking stones and cleaning toilets. Why should taxpayers pay for their food and shelter for whole life. I'm sure they would not have ever paid tax in their life.

Make criminals of some and the rest are PREFERRED STOCK who crimes are tucked under the bed. Even MEDIA is scared to cover (like rahul and sukanya).

The punishment in the cases like this should be severe, and it is requested to the Supreme Court that it should be seen that criminals with high profile background, should face the full term that is due to them.As often in jail they enjoy five star hotel facility. Let them have what they deserve.

I THINK INDIA has a very selective in their grudge justice. they like to tolerate only cCRIMINALS of certain kind and the rest they want punished.

It is indeed heartening to see that justice is finally delivered and this is particularly so in the wake of so many hurdles that are there in the Indian Judicial System.So it is reassuring in that sense.
If jessica was killed by terrorist. it wont be a big hassle.
74 cprf gone, what is justice for them or the tribals killed randomly by idealogist. the political criminals have no crimes on them, HKL bhagat, etc ran away.

Only option left for manu sharma to save himself is so somehow declare himself as a secular. He can do that by saying that jassica was a communal hindu and supporter of narendra modi and what he (manu) did was not a crime but for the sake of secularism.
