Chandrayan-1 Mission
by Gyaneshwar Shastri on Sep 25, 2009 11:01 AM  | Hide replies

We are living in the information era but still we are either kept in dark or in a confused state. I was very exited at Chandrayan-1 take off but definitely felt bad not b'coz of media reports about chandrayan-1 failure but for the NASA declaring water on moon, had been declared by ISRO, our heads would have been upright. Now, I am not sure if what has been sent to moon was a BULLOCK CARK where India supplied BULLS and the important CART was supplied by NASA. Did ISRO discovered water moon or it was NASA or it was by both. WHY DOES MADHAVAN NAIR HESITATING TO DECLARE ABOUT THE DISCOVERY AND WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR NASA TO CONFIRM. Do we lack capability to declare about our discovery or we are dependent on NASA. Was it a pressure from US to take the credit of then discovery or it was our INDIAN COWARD Govt. stand to give away the fruits to US. GUESS, ISRO SHOULD COME OUT CLREALY ABOUT WHO DISCOVERED WHAT AND MEDIA SHOULD NOT HYPE ABOUT THE DISCOVERY UNTIL UNLESS THE AIR IS CLEARED. Not doubt the discovery is an achievement either by ISRO or NASA but what is not clear is who discovered it. WE ARE STILL SLAVES OF WESTERN COUNTRIES EVEN AFTER 60 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE AND WE ARE UNABLE TO STAND UPRIGHT WITH HEAD HIGH AND BEATING OUR CHEST WITH PROUD TO SHOWCASE THE WORLD THAT WE ARE NOT NUTS.

Chandrayaan was only the train on which the NASA probe went.

Chandrayaan or ISRO did not find water.

NASA probe did.

Indians !

India had its own equipments that collected other info. about moon. But NASA's moon mapper is the equipment which collected info about the minerals.. It is joint venture b/w ISRO and USA..
It is obvious that we still lagging in technology because of lack of funds..

Then why Nasa Couldnt do it alone, since they have advanced technology? its a result of cooperation between NASA and Isro...think before posting even very advanced techis like England, Germany, France could not achieve it. dont be jealous....

Reaching moon itself is a big achievement since neither Russia nor America succeeded in their maiden attempts; and there were several failures even before they got anywhere near the Moon.
