Hindi is only an official language like the rest of Indian official languages. It is not the national language. Hindi bhashis are trying to fool non-Hindis.
Both the great leaders have kept quiet regarding the use of English! Hindi is our National language so in each and every state Hindi should be used. In assembly of every state it is expected that the member of the assembly knows well to read and write the language of the particular state!

I think raj is another cartoon character created by his uncle.. he seems to talk rubbish whenevr he opens his mouth.. he does not realize that it is people from the other parts of the country who have contributed to the growth of Mumbai and not the maharashtrians alone. the PISHWIs only know how to eat, fight and sleep. if they were left to grow Mumbai, mumbai would have been another village like Mangaon...' So, raj should keep his trap shut , else he wil get a gobarfull in his mouth soon..

My request to all teh people who are hating Marathis & in fact raj. Please go back to you respective states & develop your states. We are sufficient to take care of Maharashtra.

Very few people have done development of country generously. Otherwise all are money making schems for politicians & their relatives.
Poor people maintain poor so that they will vote for 100 Rs & quater.
Those who came out of this, improve themself & forgets society. We heard their voice only when somthing affects them (26/11) or they have to comment on people like RAj thackare (actually media made them to comments or they get publicity by doing this- very smart people).
There is no hope for betterment. what will happen with this country or what these politicans will do with this country. All major scams have blessings of biggies of Politics. Like TELAGI stamp scam in Maharastra ( without politicans, such scams cannot be happen).
HOPE RAJ WILL SAVE MAHARASHTRA FROM ALL THIS. AND WILL SET EXAMPLE FOR REST OF COUNTRY.

This media creations and divisions is widely watching throughout the world. Stop the discussions on all these issues and start a new India where all languages and states are working for the betterment of India. Do not try to make any division thereby attracting diversioary tactics and inviting another 26/11 type of incidence in India. Don't fallen into the trap of destructive minded politics of certain Indian Politicians who have already amassed crores of money and showing crocodile tears in front of the poor.

Even it was a shame on Indian Culture to invite SATHYA SAI in Varsha, CMs offical residence and get his blessings for his second rule in Maharashtra!!! My dear colleagues... please open your eyes and donot fall into the trap of these so-called GODMEN who have collected crores of properties and living in MUCH POMP and SPLENDOUR and asking its followers to fight each other for their own selifsh motivies!!!

His strategy is same wat his uncle's strategy was for south indians in past. Marathi manoos is just a vote bank and fools. He will use their sentiments to gain power. Why don't you throw hindi movie industry out of Mumbai? or convert all the transactions in BSE to marathi? :)
Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu each of them has equal importance in Independent India. Hindi Might be the mother-tongue of 40% Indians. But This should not mean that Hindi is the best and all other languages are useless. Hindi is Official language of Central government. But that does not mean North-Indians going to Maharashtra or South-Indian states can discard language of the state. THEY MUST LEARN LANGUAGE OF THE STATE IN WHICH THEY ARE STAYING. Maharashtra state should not entertain the request made by Abu Azmi. I have seen many Bhaiyas in Mumbai saying " Why should we learn Marathi?" And they don't know Marathi even after staying in Mumbai for 20-30years. If maharashtra Government accepts Abu Azmi's request, THIS WILL GIVE LICENCE TO THE NORTH-INDIANS TO DISCARD MARATHI LANGUAGE. Thus Marathi Language will vanish. I would sincerely request Marathi Youths to use only Marathi when they are in Shopping Mall, RAILWAY STATIONS or Cinema-hall or Restaurant. Please Please do not use any other language at these places, TRY TO INCREASE USE OF MARATHI AT THESE PLACES. It's also a truth that learning English creates more advantages to Indians than Hindi. Whereas Learning Hindi creates advantages only for the North-Indians.

Subhash I find your language crap, I dont want to learn it and I stay in Mumbai. Do you have any problem? Instead of forcing your culture on north indians teach your kids else they will abandon your culture for west. BTW when you go abroad do you learn their language? Your culture seems to be too weak that gets hurt on every small incident.

One must never forget that we lost our freedom in the past because of the division of our Motherland INDIA in so many small states.Now that we stand united politicians like Raj Thackeray should not raise such issues for his advantage. He should realize that India is the land of Hindus and Hindi is their mother tongue and so should be given importance over all other Regional languages.

To maintain stability Abu Azmi should not raise such issues. If he challenges existence of Marathi language then we have to reply him. Is U.P. din celebrated in Jaipur, Delhi, Chandigad or Dehradun. Why do they want to celebrate it in Mumbai? Since Hindi is preferred on Railway stations, North Indians are getting more jobs in Railway. And why Marathis are not employed correctly in railway?

How do you decide on your own that India is the land of Hindus and Hindi is their mother tongue ? These very words are against the spirit of our constitution and against the concept called INDIA. It is this attitude that will divide India - and not the people like Raj.
Abu Asim Azmi's demand of putting Maharashtra Assembly Agenda in Hindi in completly undemicratic. I conciously support Raj Thakrey if he is opposing this unjustified demand. Let Mr Azmi fight parliament election or UP assembly election to fulfil his desire. Now it seems to me that education is perhaps the only means that can help people to distinguish between right candidate to elect.
