For the record

Maharashtra Government, in my knowledge has still not done anything to upgrade the Police Force's weapons.

Just a request guys, the next time terrorists attack the Parliament or come here to kill politicians....don't fight them...help them.

Politicians are reyping this great country of ours.

Mumbai attack
by Souri Sengupta on Nov 12, 2009 09:30 AM

We are Proud of all of them and salute their courage and valour. So what if the Govt has ignored them (which they normally do for efficient and dedicated Govt employees in all departments), they will always remain in our hearts. It is for these unsung heroes in all spheres of life that the country is proud to be what it is today not because of its Netas and Babas.

Reward to unsung heros
by J J on Nov 12, 2009 07:02 AM  | Hide replies

I am sure their act of bravery was not for any reward then and they are now telling us what they did not for the sake of reward. All we can tell them now, "thanks for being there, where you were needed the most". The ones who received the reward are R.R. Patil, who is still the Home Minister and Vilas Rao Deshmukh, who is still active in politics. They are the ones responsible for not providing these men the arms these men needed to combat the terrorists. If we cannot reward these who deserved it, at least we can punish those who were responsible.
