Killing of a saint
by Krishan Sharma on May 26, 2009 10:18 AM  | Hide replies

Guru, saint, or god; all teach to live for a better future. We Indians and the people in general should experience the god inside. Instead of being served by 10 servents and accumulating the wealth enough for seven generations, we should see the help of science due to which not many servants are needed. Presidential form of Govt is a more vibrant democracy than that of ours. India must hold the referendom to change towards the presidential system as early as possible otherwise all our so called intelligensia will be gethering the dust. All talent is sent to palaces (Rajya Sabha, DCs, Governors, President) and no decision making power is given to them. All this talent is fooled by the politicians through wrong constitution. Non deserving politicians have made different different parties to distribute peanuts in their constituencies. Only the vibrant democracy alongwith science can show us the path of healthy living without thinking others as slaves.

I'm distressed to see Punjab so communal and backward. The radical sikhhs have made Punjab the worst place to live thru relegious extremism. Moderate ppl of punjab shud kick out teh sikkh radicals out of India and only then will we get bak to the glory days. Punjab has become a hotbed for extremism and in the bargain socially backward..also radical sikhs in Cananda, UK, Pak, etc fund radical sikh organizations to wreck havoc in India...in Canada(Vancouver)the sikkhs disrespected the Indian flag...isnt this disgusting to say the least?

HOW...

I want to clearify a couple things...

Are jatts in haryana and rajsthan considered hindu in the census?

If i am a chamar and belong to the sikh religon am I counted as upper class in punjab?

and finally benefits should be given to the people in need...not the ones who enjoy freedom and resources....

MANINDERPAL BHATIA
Re: Killing of a saint
by MANINDERPAL BHATIA on May 26, 2009 12:50 PM
Mr. Krishan, never write any thing without actually verifying facts. your views are misleading for the society. Not even a single sikh or any sikh organisation is involved in violence in Punjab . A sikh has nothing to do with so called Rama Nand. Who is He ? we do'nt even know. These are ravidasis who are creating menance, obviously for some political purpose. Again you are wrong!, majority of rhymes in Guru Granth Sahib are of Guru Nanak himself and not of Ravidass. He was never an inspiration for Guru Nanak. His thoughts were included only because these were in the same direction. Please let me know , about which FIVE weapons are you talking about. Sikhs have nothing to do with this violence . However, there may be hired gundas, doing all this in the guise of sikhs.

Dear Bhatiaji,
Who seem to be in wishful thinking or you r trying to say socially acceptable things.
I am sure you would never forget the Bhindranwala and clan, who preached murders of others and whose pictures are having the place of honour in many gurudwaras.
More recently, dont forget the violent reaction and death threats to Dera Saccha Sauda guru.

Vienna Killing : a threat to Humanity.
by tarsem jassal on May 26, 2009 09:34 AM

Vienna attack on Sants is big threat to humanity and a matter shame. Its FOOLISHNESS,if any one is thinking that he or she is best in the world and will dominate with RELIGIOUS ORTHODOXY and by using WEAPONS.for peace in the world the people should BE CIVILIZED and must work for humanity irrespective of any caste, sect or religion. Let us work for people of the world and not only for a particular sect or religion.

they are not suffering from inferiority complex in fact they are much better than you and your saffron terrorists....

they want only protection and the way they have been suppressed for long, they must be given protection by giving them reservation and yes the final solution will be to punish all those who discriminate them just because these poor fellows are not in power and majority wants to crush them....yes they are not having any inferiority complex, rest assured. LOL...

We Indians are with all sikhs in this crisis, but i feel that my brother sikhs should do something which will pressurize austrian govt, that too after knowing all the facts. If possible try to restrain yourself & curtail property loss.

you are wrong, there is not cast in muslims....as a religion. actually this caste system has come the deep root of indian culture which has spoiled every one....only this religion divides society based on birth.

sikhs headed for talibanisation...
by RAJ sharma on May 26, 2009 07:00 AM  | Hide replies

under the current lot of akali and more fundamentalist sikh organisations, the sikh community are headed for talibanisation of their religion, every time these guys take up any issue on behalf of sikhs, one sees these fundamentalists out in full arms, blocking road &rail traffic, burning effigies, setting public vehicles on fire, waving all kinds of arms, bombing movie theatres all under the pretext of protecting SIKHISM(a minority religion). The concerned political party(akalis) has always used violence as a means to protest. This facet of sikh religion needs alteration at the hands of the common sikh, religion and politics are a dangerous mix.One cannot overlook(as an Indian) the burning of the tricolor or disrespect towards it by any community to further their grieviances towards the state,eg. the incidents in the past summer in Toronto,Canada, where sikh activists put the tricolor in front of oncoming cars into a convention center to celebrate ID day, these people were supposedly pro-khalistanis,even though they avail every benefit of being an Indian passport holder...shame on such anti-nationals,hope better sense prevails.

SIKHS AT LOGGERHEADS AGAIN
by SANJEEV AGGARWAL on May 26, 2009 05:45 AM  | Hide replies

I WOULD LIKE TO TELL THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM. THE SO CALLED HIGH CASTE SIKHS WANT to dominate, HENCE ARE ALWAYS CREATING TROUBLES FIRST WITH NIRANKARIS, DERA SACHA SAUDA AND NOW DERA SACH KHAND AND IF NOT STOPPED NOW MANY WOULD BE IN LINE WHETHER RADHA SWAMIS, NAM DHARIS ETC. THERE IS AN URGENT NEED TO SIT ACROSS TABLE AND PUT IN THEIR NOTORIOUS BRAINS THAT CREATING UNNECESSARY TROUBLE/DOMINATE DALIT SIKHS/HINDUS IS GOING TO BRING BAD NAME TO OTHERWISE A GOOD COMMUNITY. IF SOMEBODY IS FOLLOWING THEIR GRANTH SAHIB, THEN WHAT IS WRONG. INSTEAD OF APPRECIATING, KILLING THE LEARNED SANT RAMANAND IS A SHAME ON WHOLE OF SIKH COMMUNITY AND THE COMMUNITY NEEDS TO GET RID OF PEOPLE WITH SUCH MENTALITY.

People who are involved in killing of sant Ramanand must be punished earliest, to save humanity. i agree with the statement of Mr Sanjeev Aggerwal that now its time for the community to get rid of people with such inhuman mentality.
