The terrorists who attacked Mumbai & in Lahore should be taught GANDHIGIRI, so that they learn Gandhian principles & values. If the Taliban & Al queda are taught Gandhigiri, terrorism will be solved.
Gandhi is a lie and a myth. Congress says that it follows Gandhian policies. Does that mean, Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv and all in Congress do not drink and are teetotalers.
Voting Congress is like bringing back politics of two decades back to India where, Congress use to boast too much. It is high time another stable group should come whether Third Front or NDA but surely not Congress. This time Congress is bad for country.

Mahatma Gandhi is the Truth of RAM's existence and his values towards mankind...which neither Congress nor BJP, RSS or any poltical party followed either in Peace times nor in War times.
Rajesh and Ghosh dont confuse yourselves with Mahatma Gandhi and the Nehru Family. They are not one...in NEways.

Gandhi can not be equated with any other politician. He was in a different league. He never encouraged dynastic politics. Only Nehru, Indira, Rajiv, Sonia, Rahul have benefited from Gandhi's sacrifices. They have spoiled the good name of Gandhi.

Sanghis seem to be the most educated but craziest folks in the world. The sangh will not win as all its supporters are enjoying their life in US. (after education in India). Only the lower caste folks will remain in India and they won't vote for Sanghis

foolish! Tribals in Orissa and Maharashta are the greatest supporters of the sangh.
No organisation with supporters only from the supper castes can remain for so long and its still growing.
I think Indians should get out of this narrower mindset and try to keep all of Gandhis items.
Gandhi is not an Indian; he has grown far above this narrower parochial nationalism. Gandhi is universal.
However, the Indians should only ensure that whoever owns these articles should not keep them under their personal lock and key but display for public at large; be them in Spain, in Argentina; or Saudi Arabia!
In fact it is better that these articles are constantly auctioned and keep moving from one owner of a certain part of the world to another owner in another distant part of the world. Whenever an auction happens people outside India will come to know more about Gandhi and thereby what he stood for. In that way Gandhism spreads.
Following more parochial nationalism if Indians keep every article that belonged to Gandhi they in fact are restricting the commoner of outside world know more about Gandhi. Every Indian knows about Gandhi but the same thing is not true with others to the same extent.
As the bid prices keep growing, it automatically generates interest in the minds of people as to who this person called Gandhi commanding such huge prices for such simplistic articles; leather slippers and a dented bowl and plate.

The Very name makes me feel sick. But for him, India would have got freedom atleast 20 yrs earlier. Even after Independence, he committed some more blundrs like installing a womaniser as Prime Minister for which India has been paying heavy price for last 60 yrs and will continue to do so for next 60 yrs.had it been sardar patel, India story wuold have been different.Every Roads, Institutions named after that great Loser should be changed to ensure that he is forgotten as early as possible . he reminds Indians of Slavey all the time. He is a National Disaster.

hey, dont worry man. there is no lacking of great ppl in our country. There are so many, but the point is who is taking the ride on these great ppl for their personal whims&fancies..
