Gandhi's principle is important
by CongressIN on Mar 09, 2009 11:32 PM

MK Gandhi's principle is important, not his cloths and clocks. Those who use Gandhi's name for their name, fame and reward are the people, abused Gandhi most. Kangress party in India is the most abuser of MK Gandhi and his name.

Time to liberate MK gandhi from the crutches of these barbarians.

The terrorists who attacked Mumbai & in Lahore should be taught GANDHIGIRI, so that they learn Gandhian principles & values.
If the Taliban & Al queda are taught Gandhigiri, terrorism will be solved.

Gandhigiri or Gandhi's nonviolent movement could succeed before the British only because the British were basically civilized lot. Do you think he would have succeeded befor the Nazis and hitler? Most certainly not. He would have been bundled with all his followers to the gas chambers. The same response only you will get from islamic terrorists because their ideology and mindset does not humaneness.

Gandhiji's personal belongings are priceless
by mallaiah anchoori on Mar 09, 2009 07:46 PM  | Hide replies

Gandhiji is God for Indian Nation in as much as the country would have been still reeling under slavery but for his relentless tough fight given to the British regime-not through any weapons but through means of no-violence & peaceful methods of national movements which very well find place in the annals of Indian history -especially those of the Freedom Struggle.Mallya's observation that this kind of circus ensued all through the process of auction is inadequate to reveal the great soul's ideals;he never liked any sort of drama/ circus in real life-more so in public life. And precisely, because of his this attitude,he correctly foresaw that the Congress party in future proves like a bane for the Indian folk & hence was prompted to say that a day may come when people would hang Congress men to the nearest lamp pole.He was a great man to have studied the pulse of the people & had all the honesty to accept realities of life.He was sincere in all his actions & was liking very much to make a clean abreast of truths.Which leader or any writer for that matter, has the guts & candidness to say in his biography that he was aside his wife in his bed room when his father was exasperating & struggling for life.A leader unborn till now,the worth of his personal belongings in monetary terms cannot be measured. Not six-even sixty millions of dollars are less to measure the sentimental value of his personal belongings.Nation,in fact, got enriched by procuring back them."Mera Bharath Mahan"!!

of late, it has become a great fashion to criticise big people like Gandhiji to whose towering personality people like you & me cannot think of reaching even to an extent of an inch.Unfortunately ,our country is developing more perverts than those thinking in the right perspective. There are people who condemn / abhor Rama & praise Ravana, appreciate the band of four wicked headed by Duryodhana & scold Pandavas. We cannot help such people except to pray God to endow them with good thinking.
Ganhiji was not responsible for killing of lacs of innocents, but is responsible for millions of Indians enjoy their freedom & faith.Let us pause a while before we resort to mud slinging at others.

Sheetal! This is what every antagonist of Gandhiji says & you seem to be one of them.None rises to eminence of national/international fame & will be adored just like that unless he/she is endowed with great qualities of leadership without blood shed & advocating violence.Gandhiji was a person to be remembered for ever by the Indian Nation. His towering personality has impressed many including the present US President & there can be no better recognition of greatness than this.British rulers were scared more for his weapon of non violence than the arms used by other independence fighters;they were wonder stuck by his amazing qualities of a true leader. Is there any other person in the world history who is known as "Father of Nation"(their) except this half naked fakir??He did not divide the nation but allowed it to be divided since he felt it to be better for the two brothers to live in peace duly divided rather than fighting daily remaining in the same house. That Pak is at logger heads with India ever since partition is different;further it was need of the hour pressed by the other leader Jinna too.Hindu community would have been reduced to minority had the country not been divided that time itself.Gandhiji never proclaimed that he had brought independence to us;it is the nation which knows as to who was in the forefront & who led the movement.Godse was swayed away by emotion & resorted to the extreme step in a spur of moment.I never said that there no other freedom strugglers.

Sheetal..what you dont understand is Gandhi ji never claimed that he single handedly got freedom...He was death before making any claim himself....
UR claim of Gandhi dividing the nation is ridiculous...
And you could write this message because of Partial Contribution of Gandhi to follow Peace...Otherwise you would have been under veil of darkness if you followed armed struggle happening in Pakistan....
