this is what happen when government privatise mining without proper policy and regulation.
- How much government got benefit from mining?
- Did minister pay tax for the profit from the mining business. 45crores is small amount compare to he spent for BJP party for buying (expecting to be 500-1000crores) MLA/MP for operation Kamala. Where are the blooody government and income tax officer (IT) in this country?
- Why not government make policy to get more benefit (20% as royalty fee in addition to land permission) from any mining in this country?
- Did the government do land survey before bidding land to businessman? or is it just got deal from corrupt politican?
- Where are officals where these scums doing illegal mining other than the area allocated to them?

this is one of great achievement of karnataka BJP government. these reddy looted 3000-5000crores from state for over 5 years through illegal mining. Everythings is not rosy in Karnataka. State poltician are worst in the country. they just think of how to get power and make more money. These reddy spent over 1000croes for buying MP,MLA from other parties. BJP operation kamala is nothing but operation cancel. Isn't it illegal for 5 people to make 3000-5000crores through mining. They looted state and country, so what is great about donating to temple. Waste, usless impotent Kannadigs, can't protect own state and language.
I remember reading before few months on the pathetic state of Bellary constituency. I dont find any 'manav seva' by opening a steel plant for ones own good that needs work of 25000 people. This selfish motivation is not service to humanity.

Just opening a plant is not going to do much. China had to close many factories now. I find it odd people making anti comments here are all converted doggies.
Reddy should have used this money to construct schools and hospitals. This would do a more effient job of washing away his sins then wasting the money on this mukut.

OK- You build schools- the upper caste Hindus1 get all the ranks, then they can't go any higher due to 47% reservations for SC/ST, converted rice bags etc. What is the use? better let people be uneducated and ignorant. Ignorance is bliss.

My dear, Reservation issue is a different one.If new law come into picture the Brahmini Steels Company has to give 50% reservation. Then what is bugger will do. Close the company or what ??... Try to have a positive look..

As if Schools and Hospitals are giving anything at subsidized cost. Believe me, the amount of politics and business in hospitals and schools is just too much. You CANNOT be ethical even if you want to. The only person who is doing excellent medical service is the free super speciality hospitals of Puttaparthi and White field of Sai baba. Rest all is to show spending of black money. Now stop blabbering and if you want come and seek the blessings of God. If not, do not comment without knowledge - Let me ask crores of public, what charity have YOU done before commenting on Income Tax fellahs.

mr. Neogi, sure i agree with you on all part. blaming hinduism is bad here as it is a corrupt minister giving money and not all Hindus. God will be more happy if he gave 45 cr to needy people. they will think this guy like an avatar of the god and the next generation of those benefited people will have more belief in god.
the reason that people have done no charity or help doesnot mean that they should be blind to what is currently happening. what has happened is wrong.
tell me why the sadhus earlier lived in jungles away from wealth to please god. they had nothing to offer in monetary means. but still god was happy with them(for sure).
this entire thing is show of strength to their rivals. someday some other rich person will take it to his ego and donate a bigger mukut. the place where worship needs to be done becomes a battleground to show wealth and power.

45% of TTD funds go to church activities with the blessings of SAMUEL F Reddy.The Madrassas also get a lot from TTD funds, and very little goes to Hindu1 temples11- Fact.

i've always wondered y he doesnt use his full name.......and y has he still got his REDDY tag if he has converted? maybe he is scared of losing in elections if all of andhra knew he was a christian.
What a waste- a better gesture to the 'people' would have been to build something utilitarian and immediately useful for the poor- a school or health clinic or a music recital hall or marriage reception hall. These 'gifts' are merely their chance for publicity- to show-off and hopefully, also help in washing away their sins- good luck to them on the latter.
45 crores gone waste, he could have fed some hungry mouths who are dying out of hunger or could have set some health center for the poor. it is just sheer abuse of money.
Indians beleive in doing grand things like this or constructing kalyana mandapams to offer to god but do nothing useful to the soceity. this 45 crores could have been utilized in a better way if he had directly donated the money and asked the TTD to start an educational institution which could have helped the society. age old crazy and immature ways of offering to the god with out benifit to the soceity is a sin and flaunting their wealth rather than helping soceity. the rich should learn that helping man is praying god which is heavenly activity. poor venkateswara has to crown himself with that useless crown. sorry to god if I offended
