Imagine Minister who is supposed to do selfless Public service, spending 45 Crores for the Crown. In the first place, how did he get Rs.45 Crores thru Public Service? IT CAN BE ONLY THRU ILLEGAL MEANS & BY STARVING THE WHOLE LABOUR COMMUNITY WHO GENERATE SO MUCH MONEY, SO THAT THESE CRIMINALS CAN DONATE WELATH TO GOD & CLAIM CLEMENCY. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CONSTRUCTIVE IF HE HAD GIVEN Rs.45 CRORES WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN PUT TO MORE CONSTRUCTIVE USE BY TTD. WHATS THE FUNCTIONAL USE OF ONE MORE CROWN WHEN TTD ALREADY HAS 6? ITS MORE BURDEN TO STORE & SAFEGUARD ALL SUCH ORNAMENTS. IT WOULD BE BETTER IF TTD PASSES A RULE THAT NO ONE SHOULD OFFER ANY ORNAMENTS TO TTD & IF ANY, THEY WOULD BE SOLD IN AUCTION, TO USE THE MONEY FOR DEVELOPMENTAL WORK THAN PUT IT ON GOD OR DISPLAY IT AS DONATION BY X,Y OR Z. THE MONEY REALISED COULD BE UTILISED TO DEVELOP 1000s OF TEMPLES, IN DILAPIDATED CONDITION, ALL OVER INDIA. ANY SENSIBLE POLITICIAN TO TAKE SENSIBLE DECISION? LETS SEE

It is funny the converts are the ones saying such a waste of money- but they do not mind F Samuel Reddy visiting the pope with tax payers money, nor do they realize 45% of TTD funds go to churches!

India would be a heaven place to live in if there is a system/mechanism to fetch out all the Black money accumulated by the Politicians in last 50 yesrs...and putting back this money to our nations development process..

As if it were putting a leash on a dog. Red~dumb~iff should know better than to use crude language. "Adorn the deity with a crown" is the appropriate and sensitive way to phrase it. Oh, full disclosure: If you state this simple fact- coarse phrasing- which the reporter did write- Re!d!i~iff's mod~erat-~or will delete it. Apparently you can't state facts on this website. Now, why hasn't the reporter simply corrected his language in the story, than delete my post calling him out? This is not print media that you can only publish a correction the next day!
