God does not need money - he is already blessed with everything. Therefore, it would have been in fitness of things, had this reddy, bjp minister, spent the money for the upliftment and betterment of hapless rural folds, by way of providing drinking water, electricity and roads so as to bring them to the mainstream as we people who live comfortable in cities with all requisite infrastructure. Wasteful spending money on god - manav seva is the best option than madhava seva.

its a pity not many people like u oppose haj subsidies. when u call this act of gifting the Lord as unnecessary, a trip to haj serves no other purpose to the mankind either.
grow up man. each person's religion, beliefs and sentiments to their own. if he wants to gift the Lord its upto him. and if the government gives haj piligrims subsidies, its an equally good thing too. feel free to help the needy if u so wish, but u shud not try n impose on other people's religious beliefs.

Lakhs of indians employed in Gulf countires send back home valuable FOREX of around USD 10 Billion. Many states in india provide concession to companies for employment generation.
Many cinemas impacting social message were exempted from TAX. In the same way people travelling by Air-india were exempted from TAX while going to HAJ.
But i strongly ask the community to stop using this facility as it is not falls under the pre-condition for doing Haj. Also the case being used by anti-social elements to instigate hatred against the people.

mr G Reddy. the point here is that Haj subsidy goes from government. wrong or right, this can be discussed later. but the main point here is that how come a minister has 45 crores to donate? if he can donate 45 crores. just imagine how much will he have for himself. whose money is this? i don't know what god will do with the money. i think god will be more happy if people spent doing work that God has told us to do. spend 45 crores on poor and needy people. make sure that no child suffers from disease. no villagers are dying of silly diseases. when you do that people will think that God has sent you to help and thus their belief in God will strengthen. this thing of giving so much is all a show of strength and not belief. people give more to show more.
do not think that two wrongs will make a right. and so do not justify a wrong thng by giving a wrong example. hope you are rational enough to get what i am saying.
