The non corrupt politician is a dream for an Indian.

Shi AK Antony is one of the man with such quality.

He has already proved his administration skills., without making big noises,/ senarios,

Silent, bu firm, clear and clean in words deeds and behaviour.

Can any one point out a politician with such clean image, that too after holding valuable positions all through the carieer.

No doubt he is most respected among all the politicians in Kerala

Not only in Kerala, Antony is bigger than Kerala! He belongs to the Soldiers' heart from East to West, North to South of India! He has proved time and again that his hands are not stained by corruption! This is the reason why leaders like Vajpae, Advani etc. has high regard for this short man!! He is Gandhiji reborn! Without him, Congress has no appeal to the comman man today for an uncorrupt governance in Delhi!

He is not an YES-Man either! Remember, he was the first to speak in a public rally against the atrocities committed by Indira Gandhi rule during Emergency! When Congress was split, he was dead-against Indira Gandhi! When his own men in the party supported Indira Gandhi in Chickmanglore LS election, Antony reacted to his party by resigning from CM's position! Under compulsion from his party cadres, he silently agreed to join Cong I but stayed away from politics for nearly two years! Indira Gandhi realised this man's qualities made him the Secretary of Congress party and entrusted Assam Problem to be solved! He did a miraculous job! He was very close to Rajiv but never visited him for a personal favor! Antony has no capaciaty to make firy speeches but his actions are hotter than fire! He can change the nation! He deserve more respect cutting across politics and religion and regions!!

Anil Kumar's Plea to Sri AK Antony to Hasten CDS as Jointmanship
by D goel on Jul 27, 2009 02:16 PM

D. Goel Pkl., afternoon 2.05pm, Monday, July 27 , 2009.
I do feel the need to coordination amongst various Services rubrics under CDS to effectively take fuller advantages of coordination of men ,Machines and eqquipments held by services formations and to speedily fill the lacunae. provided the generals and Air-Marshalls and Admirals act better than Civilian Babus o protecting their respective turfs and come out for what Anil Kiumar labels Jointmanship, of natiional defence.Wil they do so , why just because one is installed as CDS what prevents the other not given the Honour would not try their best to stall and poke a spike in the CDS' Band -Wagon like any other Civilian Babu . It is far from rank and so called penchant for Services Izzat but for delivering National Security that should be concern of every one associated with defence, Minister , Babu ,Jawan , CDS or other General Air-Marshal / Admiral..So Anil kumarji Pl .advise these blokes first own up the basic obligations , before cry for Administrative preferments.

Antony's Ministership
by Gowri Vallabhan on Jul 26, 2009 05:18 PM  | Hide replies

One recalls the simple Chief Minister Mr.A.K.Antony but in the same breath I also welcome him as a Defence Minister of India. He is a silent worker with no bribes, cast or creed and true to himself. I am 100% sure he does his job very quietly without the brouhaha or fanfare. I believe India's defence is truely in the hands of the right person and Mr. Antony will NOT let us down.

His actions speak like what you said and also I have heard a lot from other informed people too.

At least, he is not like the joker George Fernandes.

Antony is enough
by Girish on Jul 26, 2009 10:04 AM

Antony is deemed to be enough to counter any threat from abroad , as he was deemed to be competent enough to head Kerala more than a few times.
Dont be fooled by the mans seeming mediocrity ; just let the Chinese embark on any adventure and he will personally slay the dragon and fling the quartered chunks in the direction of Pakistan , sinking that nation into the ocean.
With capabilities such as these , what need for puny 100 day plans ?
In nay case , we are not expecting him back to Kerala anytime soon; he's all yours!!

We are fighting for survival because of a mistaken selection of the highest executive post. If we hand over the handling of defense purchases to him we will soon vanish from the map. Taking money is not the only way of corruption. Intellectual corruption is the worst for the country. The problem we face is absence of a party with India's interest in mind. BJP, a party with a difference occupied the north block. They inflicted maximum damage to our social fabric. They patronized all sorts of corruptions. Their claim to be patriotic is wrong. It is the BJP which prepared the initial paper work for the N-deal and the SEZ act. Both are injurious and disastrous to India. They camouflaged religion in their anti national activities. If we watch the present moves of Congress we can find that the BJP also had the same approach in national governance. The difference between Congress and BJP are minority bashing and hindutua. Let them come out with a statement about the differences between congress and BJP. They can not write more than ten lines.
