Mahabodhi, In last 60years, more than 50years was ruled by your pro-poor, psudo secular congi, which ruined the country... their slogen is the same last 60years, to remove poverty, electricity, water. In gujrath Modi could give 100% electricity with 24 hours, un-interrupted, 100% vilages are provided with drinking/agri water.. y your sudo-secular government cant do in last 50-60yrs.. it just appeases minorities and fools a part of majority like you to retain its vote bank..

Congress cant provide 100% electricity/water if they do it what they will have for their agenda for next election? how they will promise? instead of hailing Modi they create propaganda. Once gentle man from kerala openly told that what modi did in gujrat is not done by anyone in india so they got angry they removed him from party for talking truth and they talk abt democracy where there is no freedom for his speach.

It’s a shame that Mr.Karat and CPM fears the CBI enquiry . CPM support the Fraud Pinarayi in SNC Lanvlin Case. CBI charge sheeted Pinarayi Vijayan in Lavlin case. CPM leaders says it is an act of revenge by the Congress Party and deny all charges and goes even to the extent of saying that “Pinarayi is 100% pure man in the case” . They say they will face the case “Politically” . Another minister Mr. Sudhakaran says that they will face the case in the streets. I do not understand all these . It is shame to see that the party which is so proclaiming to be the fighter party against corruption, now not willing to accept the CBI charge sheet and further probe. Do they not trust the Indian Laws ? Why they cannot let the case be proved in the court. If his hands and clean, he can definitely come back to CPM with a great Bang!!!. I was a DYFI member, I am a supporter of left . But seeing the political behaviour of the CPM in India & Kerala , I want to say “I was a supporter of left”. Many of the welcome actions taken by the Chief Minister Achuthanadan didn’t bear the desired fruit becoz of the internal fight inside the party and lack of support and the Mafia's intervention. According to me he is the only true Communist in Kerala but his hands are tied up. The saddest part is that he is not showing guts to resign. She will do it Sebastian. Because the left might get around 50 seats in 2009 election. With the polity highly fractured and congress unable to get any way close to majority on their won, she will need the support of left once again. Then the CBI case against Pinarayi will vanish. Remember what happened in the CBI case against Mulayam. SP extended support to Congress and the case disappeared into thin air.

Hi Krishnan....Agree with most of your observations. But its not true that VS does not have guts. Its very easy to resign, throw away everything and walk into political wilderness. We have to consider his age too. At this age, its difficult for him to take the lead in breaking the mafia CPM and reconstruct the original CPM. So he is staying inside the party, exploring all options with in the party constituency and fighting it out. Main culprits are Pinarayi, Issac, Baby, Kodiyeri, Sreemati and Sudhakaran. They are social democrats who should not have any place inside a Marxist party.

Coming back to the original point, Karat and other CPM leaders are trying to claw their way back into the good books of MMS and Sonia. Why? Because they have clearly understood that 3rd front is a joke; a non starter. Mayawati has ditched them, Jayalalitha is a cunning fox - she will ditch them after the elections; Chandrababu Naidu can sleep either with 3rd front or BJP to suit his convenience. So inorder to keep their foolish flock (cadres) together, CPM has to pretend that its fighting the congress; but after the elections, they will sing like a parrot the old story that "we have to keep the communal BJP at bay; therefore we are forced to extend outside support to congress". This way they can have the cake and eat it too. Enjoy power with out the responsibilities associated with it. CPM also wants to protect Pinarayi who is their main revene collector and mafia leader. Funding for CPMs all India campaigns mainly come from Pinarayi group in Kerala. Who in the CPM PB cares for an idealist like VS? They need money to run campaigns and thats where Pinarayi's contribution to "communist movements" are more valuable than VS's intellectual contribution.

yes, he has done it! he taken over the governence at 4% inflation and within 4 years , he made it about 15% (previous govt. taken over at 11% inflation and left it at 4%) and he made every indian shameful due to inaction and biased talking, immatured thinking, biased action only towards majority which all r unmatched with rest of the world! yes, he is best from the list at bottom!!!

The inflation rate is 5.5% now. it will be 3% when new government takes over in May. Inflation was due to global causes and measures have helped - though we can also blame demand destruction for main reason for low inflation.
