It is not the humanity, the occassion provided both the parties to join hands once again.And all these kinds of occassions are being exploited to gain political mileage and Cong-I is a master in it.

It was due to Left's solid support without any ministry that Congress could form ministry run the govt for more than 4 yrs with only 145/545 seats. Left withdrew support on nuclear deal issue. Left & Congress r each other's enemy in elections, as Left wins all seats defeating mainly Congress and its allies in WB, Keral & Tripura. Congress cheated the left and opposition on nuclear deal issue.

When does people in India come to know who is Karat. Only when they supported Congress. The best time in the history CPM had when they supported Congress. Many CPM leaders in West Bangal even now wanted to support Congress. They will soon expel Kararat

Yr memory seems to b very short. Earlier, Jyoti Basu's name was proposed for the post of PM, but CPM did not allow this. Though one may disagree with their ways (I also don't like their pseudo secularism) but it is a well known fact that they did not ask for any ministerial berth in govt formation. During trust vote there was no poaching in Left parties, otherwise MPs were being sold upto Rs 20 - 25 cr each.

If Jyothi vasu was the PM then India would be worse than Pakistan. Hope you remeber some days when Chandrasejar, Dew Gouda all ruled. What a pity. Our gold was in IMF. Now we have foreign reserve for full one year import, very less countries in world have that. The Karat and party opposed when Telecom sector was privatised. What do you think, What it good ? its a fact that there is no autonomous body anywhere in India, its all politically influenced. At the most our house of corruption creates a joint parliamentary committee which live in luxury and keep on prolonging the submission of reports

Bharat Jalao Party is always after Madam Sonia for her nationality. How they are dreaming to make the Pakistan born ADVANI for the next prime minister (though there is no chance at all). Stupid BOLTU Pakistan territory was in Indian and it was Nehru-Gandhis' hunger for power they created Pakisan and the rest is historu. And Advani born in Pakistan does not mean that he is a Pakistani now. What about the current PM submitting false home address in ASSAM ?!! He is a Rajyasabha member and not elected by the people?!!

Looks like your Prem does not extend to our country. Hate mongering is more in tune with te Congress legacy. Having said that, let us stick to the topic of wishing Dr Singh a quick recovery. Still believe he is a good man even if I would not support him politically.

Mr Karat has extended an olive branch to the Congress as he knows that his party is doomed without Congress support in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Also, the Congress President has appointed Mr Pranab Mukherjee as the WBPCC president -- another gesture to the CPI-M as Mr Mukherjee has friendly relations with the CPI-M, particularly with Mr Buddhadev Bhattacharya.
The Congress President is an astute politician and the nation's future is secure in her hands.
