What was the need to waste money on sending this rustic to Tokyo, the most expensive place on earth? Isn't India facing a recession?

Besides, can he provide his observations on the experience? I wonder how his taking a ride there is going to bring bullet trains to India.

Bullet trains are there for over a decade. What was he checking out exactly?

Do you know that Laloo has been mentioning bullet trains for many years now? What I don't understand is: Why does the minister (who is not an engineer / designer) need to go there and "check it out"? If the govt has money, why not start the project and send the engineers instead?

Mr.New York
Only your name has the modernization but it appears you might be in a remote village. If not, at least you might have some idea how the operations works. The train and its route, etc. are controlled through computers but not by humans. O.K. Does the track requires daily check ups by crew like in our indian railways? Not at all. So the trip by Mr.Lalu is pleasure trip as well as to get some funds for dedicated freight corridor which was in the files of Railway Ministry, Planning Commission for the last few years. It is the brainchild of NDA not of Lalu. Lalu is brainchild is increasing tatkal quota and looting the public. The amount collected for safety charge in the ticket is shown as profit since huge amount is not at all spent.

Lalu's Raj Yog

This is called "raj yog". Lalu has no akal no shakal but always in lead position. See, how he presents himself as very intelligent person as railway minister. Railway is in profit, making lecture in IIM or other famous institutes. Have you all ever think why he lectures only on how he makes railway in profit and not on other topic? Don't you think this may be all given by intelligent officials of railway and he owned all credit? If he is so intelligent then why Bihar has not grownup in his 15 year of governance. Bihar has lost every thing in his regime and gone so down that it will very difficult to come up. So don't think lalu is very intelligent. Yes! This is effect of his powerful current "raj yog"

Do you think railway officers need 50years to prove that they are intelligent.after his (lalu) failure in his state he proved sucess in the centre govt .you should admire his intellgence & dedication regarding his work.have you seen how intelligence failed in mumbai attacks due to the lack of our home ministry??.

What u talks is not acceptable to me. Tell me one thing is these officials were so intelligent then why railway was not in profit earlier. I THINK U SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS NOT IMPORTANT THAT HOW INTELLIGENT U R IT IS IMPORATANT THAT HOW EFFECTIVERLY U MANAGE THE INTELLIGENCE WHAT U HAVE IN UR THOUSAND EMPLOYEES. THIS IS TRUE INTELLIGENT AND THIS IS WHAT HE IS TEACHING IN IIM. I THINK U ALSO NEED TO LEARN SOMEMANAGMEENT SKILLS.
