The CPM supported Bangladeshis ??

This time anyway, it is Ms.Mamata who has fielded a Bangladeshi candidate and defeated CPI's deshi candidate from Nandigram !!!

How about that ?? Do you hope that this will not be noticed ??

Mr. Nath, Please stop using all CAPS for typing out your messages. It is inconvenient to read, difficult to comprehend and is called "shouting" on the board.
I'm sure you have some valid points in the message, but they tend to get lost in the maze of CAPS.

Nandigram
by sumit mukherjee on Jan 10, 2009 11:40 AM

The people of Nandigram chose to be free from terror and violence. They voted against the incumbent due to the high handed manner in which the communists acted and the violence perpetrated by them. They deserve to lose this election.
However, let us not be fooled into believing that this is a victory for TMC. They did not win. Had Congress had a strong leadership in Bengal, Congress could have won this seat as well.
Let us hope that TMC now does some constructive work for the development of the assembly. Only time will tell...

Mr. Narayanan

Why do you pretend to be unaware that the malayali voters swing from the Congress led front to the CPM led front and back from election to election ??

And by this record, is it not the turn of the Congress to win the next round ?

And will such a win for the Congress really suggest that it 'will be the end of the marxists in Kerala' ????

Search "nandigram, west bengal, india" and see it in google maps. You may have to zoom out. It's close to Bay of Bengal & Sunderbans.

get them out
by Rajiv Saikia on Jan 09, 2009 07:31 PM  | Hide replies

The communist have no community goals and the socialist have no ideology of socialism. Equality and egalitarism are terms alien to them in present age. Merely donning khadis and slinging a jhola does not generate any impressions whatsoever. Anyway, through their tactics and obstructive methods they have reduced their status to nuisance value and nothing else. Comuunists and socialists have no influence on the society any longer. Their politics is of Union-bazi. It is because of trade unions and the fantasising tendency of the students in their youth in the form of philosophical euphoria by forming students federations that they exist in pockets. The nefracious side of them is intrinsic in the form of naxalite extremists who are potent sources of danger to the nation as they have repeatedly demonstrated in the recent past. Did the CPI, CPI(M) or the marxists manage to prevail sense over them? So it is apparent that they are all round flops. Its time to bury them and the next election will be a great opporutunity to do so.
