Aryans came from europe?
by Quick Yamraj on Feb 12, 2009 01:36 PM  | Hide replies

There is a lot of ambiguity regarding Indus civilisation amongst Indians & Westerners as well. One thing we can be sure that, once upon a time we (Indians) were the most advanced community, that's why western scientists claim that , the Aryans came from Europe. Also some people in India also believes the same. Nobody is sure about that, so all we can do is, respect all those great personalities like Shri Rama, Swami vivekanand,Shivai, Rana Pratap, Prithviraj Chauhan, Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Tukaram etc.,who have contributed a lot to our society.

It is somehow established by Anthropologists that the first human migration took place from Africa. As they came out from African continent they travelled eastward along the shores of Asia, and eventually reached India. Some of the pure breed of African genes can be found in places like Andaman islands. Also there is surprising resemblances between the cultures of African tribes and the tribes of India. People of African origin settled mostly towards the southern part of the country whereas in the Northern india what we see are the Indo Iranian genes,But as such it is very difficult to find any person who is carrying any pure gene, we are all mixed-up, excepting places like Andaman island and some remote himalayan village.

Baxi's point is nearer the mark. There are no pure races in India. Indeed most 'aryans' of india are not acepted as such in places like Central Asia or Europe. In fact, the strength of our civilization may be due to the fact that we are mixed race and have the strengths of all gene pools. Almost every race is represented, albeit in a mixed way, in india.

Every Indian particularly Parivar mindset think that, Indian civilization belong to them only and Sindhu civilization progress down from their ancestors. Even people living in the far south India claim to be part of this great civilization. What a misconception!

It is like all African claiming to be descendent of Egyptian PHARAOS..

Indus valley civilization is a riddle that cannot be solved easily. We modern-day indians didn't even know that it ever existed till the british excavated the site.

We should be more curious about our roots than we currently are.

by Ramsingh Sachan on Feb 12, 2009 10:28 AM

The objectives of the conference look very good. There are many questions still unanswered regarding this great civlisation.Controversies may continue but people will have more material to judge and formulate their opinions. The historical sites, events and people are world heritage. We must respect the opinions expressed and judge the issues on their scientific merit.I hope the deliberations to bring new lights and add significant information to be utilised by future historians and others.

mix of genes is not denied...the important question is how these genes got mixed..muller theory was one that said europeans came to india..it is discarded by west.return of aryans tells tht aryans went in search of holy land and then returned to thier land as they found it was holiest..scientific proofs given in the book show its proof.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: theory used for devide and rule

Contemporary Hindu Indians are of proto-Asian origin with West Eurasian admixture. However, admixture with West Eurasian males was greater than admixture with West Eurasian females, resulting in a higher affinity to European Y chromosomes. This supports an earlier suggestion of Passarino et al. (1996), which was based on a comparison of mtDNA and blood group results. Furthermore, the degree of West Eurasian admixture was proportional to caste rank. This explanation is consistent with either the hypothesis that proportionately more West Eurasians became members of the upper castes at the inception of the caste hierarchy or that social stratification preceded the West Eurasian incursion and that West Eurasians tended to insert themselves into higher-ranking positions. One consequence is that shared Indo-European languages may not reflect a common origin of Europeans and most Indians, but rather underscores the transfer of language mediated by contact between West Eurasians and native proto-Indians.

Well somebody has to be completely European to mix his/her genes ! Plus the high degree of male admixture points towards invasion as armies are primarily composed of males.

Dear Mr. X - who gave you this genes analysis conclusion - its totally crap - on the contrary after the genes analysis is done, there is very less European or proto Indian genes in pan indian population - on the contrary the pan indian population is having more affinity towards the south east asian genes. Dunno from where we Indians develop these crap ideas. Aryan Invasion Theory was a totally politically motivated proposition done by that bogus historian called Max Muller (being a Biblical Scholar - he also deeply believed that earth was created at around 4000 BC in seven days as given in Bible) acted on Hitler's interest and also to please his British bosses to demean Indians and to prove that nothing in original here - if Aryans can invade we also can. Modern research is showing that cradle of civilization is India and not Mesopotamia. Vedic civilization started at around 10,000 BC after the last ice age at the bank of river Saraswati and Indus Valley civilization is a continuity of the Vedic civilization - in fact it was the material manifestation of the Vedic civilization - there was nothing called Aryans and Dravidians - there was no race called Aryans - Aryan was a way to address a respectable gentleman. The decipherment of Indus Valley scripts gave major proof to this. After Maxmuller and company, this Marxist historians like Romilla Thapar and company still wants to keep this lie alive because of their own political reasons.

Some Tamilian and other South Indian politicians also want to keep this lie alive simply for political reasons. The Genetic part, archeological part, linguitic part - every thing is pointing that this Aryan Invasion Theory is one of the biggest frauds and lies of the past two centuries. Come on brother - be happy to know that - modern research is pointing that all of us Indians - irrespective of our mother tongue, skin color or religion - we are the descendants of the oldest and the greatest civilization on earth which started at 10000 BC - much earlier than the Egyptians or the Mesopotamians. And our ancient forefathers were masters of astronomy, mathematics, Medicines, literature, town planning, and modern science like aerootics and nuclear science. Let all of us Indians be proud to be Indians - celebrating the greatness of our forefathers and try to achieve global leadership in today's world.
