Archeologist have found 7000 year old civilization in South India
by JGN on Aug 31, 2009 11:19 PM  | Hide replies

Archeologists have found a big ancient city immersed in the sea near the coast line of Tamil Nadu. They found out that it was the oldest civilization, lived by a civilized community. They have calculated it as 7000 year old. Even Mohenjadoro and Harappa civilizations considered to be the oldest and the bet are only 5000 years old. 2000 years earlier than that, our Country civilized as that.

definitely they were not vedics hence ur claim that vedics are oldest is wrong.

to be very sincere(as always) i am spending late nights on this forum, which is infact disturbing my daily routine-but ppl with so much hatred in their minds and so much intolerance towards others have to be taught their right place.A few like us may not be able to do it, but there are ppl who are reading these posts, and this has to spread and TOLERANCE HAS TO COME.

Good evening; Some intolerant guy reported my message for abuse. Anyway you have read the same. That's all.

The moral is not athidevobhaa but rather than worshipping some imginary g0d, self-less service is more important.

If wealth is lost, nothing is lost

If health is lost, some thing is lost

If character is lost, everything is lost (Engish proverb)!

@ icshyderabad - this is the story of ''golden mongoose'' - 2
by JGN on Aug 31, 2009 10:49 PM  | Hide replies

the forest.

When they were about to eat the food, there cam an old Maharishi, also tired and starving. Hospitability being inborn with this Brahmin, he welcomed the Maharishi and offered him his portion of the food. It was not enough for the Maharishi. The Brahmin’s wife gestured to her husband to give him her portion also. When that too did not suffice, his two sons also offered their portions. After taking all the food, the Maharishi was completely satisfied and left, after blessing all of them.

The Brahmin had been starving for two days; he had prepared the scarce food with much difficulty; in spite of hunger for two days, depriving himself and his family of a meal, he offered it with a generous heart without expecting any returning to a good and respectable Maharishi. This exemplary action had brought him the greatest virtues from G0d. When I rolled over that holy spot, my body except the tail turned into god and also I got the power to speak. To get my tail also gold, I rolled over the holy spot of your yagam, but my tail remained as it was without being turned to gold. As such your Emperor will not get even a fraction of the virtue earned by the poor Brahmin.

JGN-good evening. I was waiting for this post since yesterday. Again this is the offshoot story like so many additions in Mahabharat. But all additions have a moral in them. Áthidhi devo bhava'being in this post of yours, good collection.
