I am sorry, I was not on the board for some time. Any way I recognize the right of those who want to believe in some g0d and we (atheists) should also be left to our choice also.
The Ancient Sages of our Country believed that the Universe originated from a Single Primal Principle called "SAT" and in what ever form we worship, the same ultimately reached the said Primal Principle called SAT. That was the reason for the Reliigious tolerance in our Country. Irrespective of caste, creed, colour, reliigion, region, we all are Indians first and last.

I was also engaged in execution of Projects for City and Industrial Water Supply. I had worked on some very large Pumping Stations in India. Now I am in Power Generation sector.

The Great CHARMINAR of Hyderabad-known to everyone -400yrs old legacy. Yes, this great structure was built by Nizams, as per VAASTHU(ppl may try to differ-let them verify records) to ward off plague in Hyderabad then. But all of us ppl take pride in this and the prayer hall in the top floor, conveniently ignoring, that the temple of Kaali, was first built(facing Unani Hospital abetting street), and then only the structure was completed. So all these misguided youth think, that islam is superior-so be it-, but in no way you are as educated as the Nizams. Surprisingly Nizams had Sri Vaishnavite priests to do their duties in temples, and were providing the means. Idiots should realize. Any douts-visit Charminar and see for yourself. This is why I say that all these misguided brothers of mine should shun hatred, follow your faith strictly-with total faith-and see reason in others also.

It is that a great majority of Indian Muslims love india and have great respect and awe for Hinduism. I have debated with a lot of Muslims and found them to be clear of thought and precise in their beleifs, whereas we Hindus do not do any formal study of our scriptures and conjure up our own interpretations, understanding of our relegion based on heresay. It is like we have made this huge bogeyman of the musalman, whereas it is not them, but our own corrupt incorrigible leaders who have misled us for nefarious purposes, pitted the Hindu brother against the muslim brother and vie versa of this great country to benefit at the polls. Let us follow the great tradition of bharat, live and let live, without loosing our own selfrespect and dignity for our ancient and great relegion and way of life
I had the opportunity of meeting Hyder Saab, Langar Cigar Factory, Nellore (Andhra), who has gone on Haj two times abt 3 decades ago, and you know the difference. I was pleasantly surprised and shocked to understand that he always, year after year, donates some money to the local Ranganatha temple for one occasion like Pushpa Pallaki(the palanquin of flowers)-so we have such great people, and also mavericks.(and i am honoured to quote him here)

Kabir’s Dohas(I think it is right word) are so powerful and meaningful even today. But when he left his left mortal remains(PBUH) both Hindus and Muslims were fighting, as to what to do with the body-cremate or bury-Lo the body was not there but only flowers.

Out of them TWO are still available. One is worn to the idol in a chain, and the other in the custody of the temple in State Bank of India. One can take the pain of visiting Hyderabad and Bhadrachalam-if they are sincere in their quest.
I will tell you an actual incident narrated to me by one of my sub-ordinate. He had gone to Kavarati (Lakshadweep) for a job connected with a Defence Project. The inhabitants of Kavaratti are all Musliims except for the Govt employees (and a few employees of Private Companies, specially on Govt work). Special Permits are required for any one to visit any place in Lakshadweep.
As is usual with Keralites, some of the Govt employees decided to construct a small Ayyappa Temple there but the Musliims were furious about the same. One intolerant guy tried to demolish the same by crashing a Jeep into the building in cinema style. He was not able to destroy the temple but he got paralysed waist down in the process. After that the Musliims themselves came forward an completed the construction of the temple and they are now mor edevoted to Ayyappa than the Govt employees from Kerala!!
