BJP as Party
by ravi kumar on Aug 20, 2009 05:12 PM

well after all this hulla of chitan baithak , one will not be surprised if the BJP meets the fate as Janta Party of 70's. All senior party leaders are not only confused but also becoming silent spectators to the turn of events. After Mr. bajpai's disappearance the so called NDA is a distant dream . Now one can imagine the so called National party BJP without Advani, Yashwant Sinha , jaswant singh , arunjaitley, vasunder raje and will be lead by the likes of Modi's , Rajnath singh. I wonder if any party worker of BJP itself knows its president down south. It will be very sad that once the party with difference will end up in such a sorry state. Well the so called Chitan Baitak which was to accept their mistakes in Poll debacle and to do brain storming has led to the debacle of the party itself. My sincere opinion is that the party president should quit and the reigns should go to more credible leader. I think Mrs.Susma Swaraj is the best choice in the present circumstances. The RSS the political mentor of the party should not be silent saying its the internal matter. This party BJP which was only alternate to Congress if disintegrates it will be a big national loss.

Dont blame Mody
by shanoj kumar on Aug 20, 2009 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

I am surprised by the report, Actually speaking, Had they portrayed Modi as PM candidate, BJP could have won elections hands down. He has huge following even down south. Beats me, who prepared these reports, surely it would be by a group of jealous insiders who could not digest the rise of Modi.

He has the charm, patience and prudence. The other two may have support but it is partial.

yes it should happen. He has all the prerequisites to qualify for the PM. Bjp have lost its face in the people. Everyone wants to b a leader. Now its time for Respected Leader L.K Adwani to choose their successor for new & next generation. At once there was no. of leaders in the Bjp. Congerss have faced the same situation b'fore Sonia Gandhi's entry. Now they have solution with option, bjp has to findout the option as early as possible. As a party they should firm their fundamentals.

I agree with u with respect to the leadership crisis in BJP. But I think these are not unusual, they actually lacks in tall leader like Atal or Advani. So far a congress is concerned only option is family business - Sonia Gandhi then Rahul then his wife then his child then his grand child and so no...they don't have to think about how tall the leader is only thing that is required is "GANDHI" as surname.
