If the BJP has to make a comeback, keeping aside the internal squabbles,it has to do a mammoth task of either educating the average Indian on how the "welfare" policies of the Congress are a) Draining the exchequer withour revenues and b) List out the way the social fabric of our nations is being shredded apart by those policies.
Or come up with new initiatives to beat the Congress in the freebie sweepstakes w/o worrying about the exchequer.
Today those that are part of the low income group / reserved communities / certain sections of the minorities are being kept in good spirits by the Congress through freebies.
So why would those folks vote to another party.V.P.Singh sliced and diced the Hindu society and Congress has gone one up and sliced and diced the entire country.
Hostilility of the English media, not highlighting this and that and that will be the last 5% of the reasons why BJP lost.
Thats it guys. This is almost a funeral of BJP. They cant come back. Modi will also be thrown down. But bad newa is that Congress will not have any party to question them. They may start bad things and all bribes etc.. Sad to say good bye..

well said Naresh...BJP only wants to attack a gentleman and highly qualified person like Dr.Singh, rather than focusing on core issues and what they can do for the nation.

Dr. Singh is ruling this country for last 6 years even without winning an election.. and also he has failed in all the areas as a PM.. Just because someone has got the ecademic degrees he may not be qualified to be the PM..

it was his economic degres and vision which led to the opening up of indian economy in the 1990s thus ushering in an era of growth.....also....just giving fiery, sarcastic lectures doesnt make someone fit to be a pm

;-).... good to see the educated intelligentia of the country succumbing to such pretty theories..... :)
Even if Gulzarilal Nanda was the FM in 1991, the same reforms would have come through, coz the IMF and the World Bank had given the ultimatum that the Nehruvian policies had to go, or else..... :)

in fact there does not seem to be any need for elections.Advertise the posts of PM president & ministers etc., in the newspaper and put the people with high qualification on theses posts. Now a days we lack good quality leadership values. So why waste money on Elections.Certainly I am qualified for PM or finance ministers post.

And you know where George Bush took US, See the economic condition where Bush forced US. And the wars he started, No one knows how long its going to be and if ever they are going to win
Some of the points sound quite possible as factors that resulted in the debacle . However considering that Times Now has a sterling reputation as being anti the BJP , it is very possible that it was cooked up by them. The Critical issues that the BJP must address are :- 1. The fact that a very large section of the Visual Media remains aggressively hostile to it . They worked tirelessly to destroy the BJP . The wipe out in Metros of the BJP can possibly be attributed to this factor . 2. Why does some of its leaders like Jaitley etc patronize those very channels that work against the party ? Is it their great urge to get personal exposure 3. How the media could sue the Kandahar issue to checkmate BJP’s attempt to bring 26/11 to the forefront 4. Would a general and total boycott of such Media by the BJP help in projecting such channels are one side propaganda machines .
Finally bring out to the public why these channels / print media instead of being unbiased news media end up campaigning for the Congress party .

Ok, you seem to be an educated fool.. There are certain rules and regulations that you need to follow in any party.. Jaswant had created a lot of indiscipline in the party (Book just added to the list of reasons) thats why he was thrown out. Period. Do you think anyone in Congress can stay after criticizing even a Robert Vedra? Come out of your bias and look at the real factors.. poor administration, price rise, foreing rules, impotent cabinet by Congis.. if you think we indians deserve this then i am sorry to say that no book can help you...

How come then we are a third rate nation in spite of half a century of comg rule ? And now things are getting worse. Isnt there a saying when death comes to a fox it runs towards the city ?
Folks, whatever may be the case. I like onething about Jaswantsingh(jassu) is that he called the Half chaddhi nikervallah Pracharaks as 'Suvidhabhogi'. What an appropriate term! Kudos to Jassu
