.
The Roman Catholic Pope, when he visited India had bluntly told his audience in Hindu-dominated India that his mission is to convert people to Christianity (Roman Catholic version, of course).
Are these religions or theories of fascism.

DISCUSS THIS WITH BUSH 1ST.

You uneducated idiots dont understand English. He never said 'convert' but said about 'preaching the Gospel of Christ' which is a basic fundamental right. No one is born with a permamnent religion. People are free to chose their religious, political, economic etc views. Lay off. Conversion is a choice and let people exercise it. If you feel so insecure who is stopping you from propagating your religion too. In fact when you do it in the WEst and get converts you are happy? Aren't you? So stop this hypocrisy. You people tried telling majority of your masses years ago that a cobbler's son can only be a cobbler and nothing else. That myth has been dispelled. This is another myth that religion is permanent. People cannot chose their parents but they surely can chose their Faith. Jai Hind

Except u all others r 'uneducated idots'. That is what missionaries teach u, that all non Christians r idiot, only Christianity is the true religion. What is the meaning of strictly and blindly following a book written thousands of yrs ago, when scientific knowledge was poor.

Church had laughed at, taunted and jailed Galeleo for saying that earth was round.

B rational. Don't spread superstition just for the sake of foreign money.

Well, for the Christians, it isnt about conversions....its about charity...an example shown to us by Mother Theresa. But Hindus, who can only amass wealth and couldnt care less about charity to their own bretheren, will naturally lose all credibility in front of their own felllowmen. Thus the conversions. If you were hungry, shelterless, poor ...wouldnt you be drawn more to Christian charity rather than the wasteful excesses Hindus seem to love while indulging in their 'religion'??

Yes, bb. Hindus r indulge in wasteful excesses. That is the reason per capita consumption of electricity, fuel, food etc is many times higher in USA than in India. Is now USA a Hindu majority country?

RELIGIONS... REAL .ENEMIES OF INDIA !!!
by GRJ on Sep 23, 2008 09:49 AM  | Hide replies

Unfortunately a DEMOCRATIC SECULAR INDIA has it's own enemies within itself.... RELIGIONS.
But for the religions, India would have become a true example of a beautiful country on this secular planet ( by it's natural boons ).

See what harm it does to be at each others throats just establish that each others religion is better than others.

A pitiable human psychological handicap !!!

Loving one's own religion is good but that love should not create hatred for other's religion.

Any religion that encourages hatred for other religions is not a useful and a true religion....'cause RELIGION is an external appearance of a true internal individual. Same is the case with LAW . A law that can not help for the welfare of Humanity is wasteful component in a human society !!!

A true internal individual who loves all the creation is a true human....and a true human has no RELIGION....because RELIGION DEVIDES EVEN THE SAME BLOOD IN A FAMILY, SOCIETY, STATE, COUNTRY AND WORLD.

TO HELL WITH RELIGION....LONG LIVE HUMANITY.....THE HUMANIST RELIGION.

IT IS FOOLISH TO FIGHT FOR EXTERNAL RELIGION AND KILL EACH OTHER.....REALLY EXTREMELY FOOLISH !!! .....NO PRIDE !!!

bb,

If the religious tolerance has to be practized they have to alter their superiority complexes and humble themselves and share their riches with poorer, inferior people of their own country men or blood brothers.

They will even kill their own off-spring if they take to another faith, or religion.

HYPOCRISY OF TOP ORDER !!!

Even if your assertion is true, even if conversions are on the rapid increase....why are 'mindless' Hindus converting?? Have you paused to think about that?? Let me know if you've found an answer....
And why do the extremists resort to violence? Is that what your religious scriptures have taught you?

Discuss religious freedom with Dr Singh, Bush told
by Nirpinder Singh on Sep 23, 2008 09:35 AM  | Hide replies

I am of the opinion that all of this ballyhoo about conversion is a bunch of crock. I am personally a Sikh. I do not agree with the fundamentalists of the RSS that Sikhs are merely a branch of the Hindu religion. I was educated in a missionary school. I imbibed their values but not their faith. Persons who convert are generally poor who find no succour in the religion that they are born into. If you can not provide for all of the poor persons of your religion and if you would rather suppress than help them what right do you have to hold them back from converting to another faith? Why did Bhim Rao Ambedkar convert to Budhism?

Nirpinder Singhji,

you are great, u accept the truthfulness of better life.
Thussi great ho !!!

Hope every body realises that good civilization need not be throughreligious conversions. And mind converting is better humanity. This is what is done by those indians who feel like changing towards better standards. May Christianity, Islam, Budhism etc., Don't cry like crocodiles when u can not help your own Indians.

Change for the better, my dear Indians ! Learn from Nirpinder Singhji Sardar.

Convert or dont convert.....try to know the difference in real human values.

Well the fight is not about conversion but forced conversions ?

Is forcing someone to convert on gun-point right ?

Is kidnapping someone's child and then converting them to another religion right ?

Is giving money to someone for converting to another religion right ?

Then why do you think coax poor people to convert in the name to service for poor is right ? If christians are so worried about poverty (am not saying that indians are very happy about it but there is always problems in every country) then why do they restrict themselves to service. Why tell poor people that they can only avail there help (read money) if they change there religion.

They are worlds No.1
entrepreuners and generators of money from all over the world. They won't be so foolish to waste their money on Indians as we are financially poor but mentally superiority complexed.

Why are Hindus getting converted //// what are we doing before it happens????? why are we making so much noise after they are converted ????

Why are we not contributing what converters are doing.????
We have failed to protect our poor and downtrodden hindus and are shedding crocodile tears when they are converted.

Rest of the so called protectors of Hindu Dharma have to change to stop this kind of conversions due to our own neglect and superiority complexec.

After sometime even rich and educated hindus will also get converted if we dont improve our own moral standards.

Does it mean, Mc Donalds, KFC., Jeans, T shirts, Shoes, watches , even underwear from US and Europe are raping the Indian culture and civilization.

Which is prmitive even today. Killing girl child, widow exploitation ( Killing )
not allowing drinking water, no temple entry .....what is our civilization changing into ??? futuristic or primitive ???

Even African countries seem to be happy with the change from the primitive to the present.

Why are we Indians complaining after changing.

We have to accept changes if they are bringing better living conditions to all sections of Indians.

By opposing the change, we are trying to take back India to the primitive days.

I will tell you why sikhs are considered as brother of hindus. Durng the muslim invasions thru punjab and kashmir, Punjabi hindus gave their first born son to be baptised as sikhs and to join the Gurus in their fight against atrocities.

When Khalistani terrorists were gunning down RSS workers, pulling out hindus from buses and shooting them dead, I went to the RSS office in Delhi. I asked them why are you not retaliating? The RSS workers told me that sikhs are our brothers and WE WILL NOT attack them in return.
