Does US have the right to question India internal conflicts
by Venkatachalapatee S on Sep 23, 2008 08:17 AM

US doesn't have the right to question the internal religious freedom of India. It has gone for war in Iraq, Afghan, and now trying to bomb Pakisthan as well. Especially Bush and republicans doesn't have the right to speak about religious freedom when they have created an issues with Omaba's middle name.
What were they doing when the hindus got victimized in terror attacks in Kashmir. They have no right to comment on india's internal conflicts. What were they doing when hindu temples were under attack.

Here comes the American Diktat
by Raghavendra Ravi on Sep 23, 2008 08:09 AM

The US first perpetrates crimes and then tries to check the same action elsewhere. They drop the atomic bomb on Japan and now it wants to prevent other countries from developing capability.. What is their excuse ? Safe world ! after they have rendered it unsafe for everybody. The "secular brigade" in India has jeopardized the interests of Hindus for so long that I do not know as to who needs protection - "minorities" or Hindus? The minorities are very powerful - they get support from abroad - both money and politicial support. Alas, Hindus do not have support even from within the Hindu community. Caste affiliations are so strong that each caste blames the other. And amongst the so called educated brigade there is a great interest in getting approval from the western world. So we have an impotent Hindu community - physically weak, mentally confused, with a great philosophy view of life which has been handed down generations which they are not willing to protect. They surrender meekly to the wicked forces of the world. God save hinduism.

India to shows unparallel tolerance towards other religions
by mallaiah anchoori on Sep 23, 2008 08:06 AM

Falice D Gaer told some thing exactly in contrast to her grievance without telling. It is the pluralistic backdrop of making Sikh, the Prime Minister of the country, allowing a Catholic to head the biggest political party which is the major player in the present governance of the country & coronating more than one belonging to the minority community-Muslims & once a Sikh also as President of the country,India despite being predominantly a country of Hindus has exhibited unparallel & matchless tolerance towards other minority religions. The happennings in Karnataka & Orissa against Christians are only stray incidents which cannot generalise for blotting the secular character of the country.India has been, ever since its independence, for the past more than 60 years, enduring all types of atrocities committed at least by one of the minority religion which is known for its people for terrorism.Gaer should have considered this rich background of this great nation known for its endurance for all the religions practiced by its people. Her anxiety,as any sensible person comrehend,is about the Chritian Community against whom Hindus never harboured any grudge. The majority community of the country, however,is bent upon protecting its cultural heritage & any one who tries to tamper with it is/are naturally resisted & shown their place.Religious tolerance does not mean that one religion should suffer just to appease another religion for public fear.Hindus believe in peaceful coexistence.

Rediff should halt message board.

Will rediff consider this humble request to abandon the message board. I read rediff articles with great interest on a daily basis and never ever have I come across a sensible response in this so-called message board. Worse, every single message is highly incriminatory, provoking and ridiculous. I do not see any reason to continue the message board in the same fashion. Please consider this request.

What a Joke ?
by Milind on Sep 23, 2008 06:09 AM  | Hide replies

How come the US president has never been a non-Christian or Black or a Woman ? Why Obama had to clarify that inspite of a middle name as Hussein, he was a Christian ?

What about the human rights of civilians who died in an unjust war in Iraq ?

ManWoman Singh should ask these questions to Bush if he really wants to retain his name as ManMohan Singh.

It is difficult for typical white person to vote for Barack Obama. Obama is popular with college kids, and unfortunately, college kids do not have the commitment of standing in line to vote. I suspect McCain will win and carry on Bush's stupid war policy on Iraq, and next on Iran. No one cares how many innocent people are killed in Iraq, but Bush wants to question Hindus about christian problem! This is just like asking the Jews for accountability, when in fact, the christians are the ones who gassed 6 million Jews (and other 'undesirables) to death during WW II.

Hoho. Haha.
The killers of a million Iraqis wish to call somebody else a bad person.
Hehehehehe.
India's so called 'liberals' are really lunatics with no sense of proportion, perspective or even a fair grip on reality. India's liberals follow the wild west dictum: A lie enforced with forceful propaganda can become a truth for the population.

Truth- just like the truth of bible Gods- are untruths. Modiji NEVER applied for a US Visa. The entire idiotic scheme of denying him a Visa is orchestrated by muslims in USA. USA being a cow, listen to muslims and in anticipation of Modiji applying for a Visa, wanted to deny him. The truth is- Modiji has no ambitions, he does not want to come to USA, he does not want to rule India.

Hello, a news round going on saying "Narendra Modi's Visa was rejected. I chanced to see a a tv talk show (Seedi Baath in Aaj Tak) today where in Modi is being interviewed. To a question on Visa issue, Modi said if the interviewing guy knows the truth. He also asked him if he(Modi) applied for any US Visa? So, we do not know who is speaking truth? Did Modi apply for Visa? Was his application rejected? OR was it a hype by TV Channels (Who ar funded by Islamic states) to demoralsie some certain sections of the community? Personally I feel USA is not a heaven. Nor USA is economically stable. Remember a week back what happened to giant US Finacial institutions???

don't think India is inferior to America. Bull dogs and hyenas may be strong but it is the deer (India) that is most bewitching to see and admire... it is the emblem of Shiva (God)
