Kuntal Barman
few questions
by Kuntal Barman on Oct 01, 2008 03:08 PM

For long I wanted to ask few questions on this.
1. Is it ethical to have a relationship between a teacher and student?
2. It's sad that he died (or say "was killed"). If he was killed, is it so easy to keep a deadbody in the morning next to railtrack in overcrowded West Bengal and nobody notices? If he did suicide, what for? A marriage can be considered as an agreement between two to stay together. If the girl was not serious why did he bother?
3. One should know that everyone would face hurdles in their life. If he (in fact everyone) was sure about police harassment, could not he tried to give a break and try some other way to fight a powerful enemy? History has lots of such examples in several context.

Strange
by Ahmad on Oct 01, 2008 03:07 PM  | Hide replies

Strange to see that some people here and every where are trying to create hatred based on religion. In fact these are true enemies of nation and these should be punished first before we move our tanks to outside enemies. Britshers also used divide and conquer policy. Tears whether they flow through the eyes of Hindu or Muslim or christian are tears; We need to help people financially and morally who become targets of ill designs of terrorists, fundamentalists, and those dividing people. It is quite clear those people who are spreading this hatred are anti-nationalists and might be getting paid for such activities. How come we fight with each other when we eat the same thing, wear similar clothes, celebrate festivals together...

wah very good moderator, when someone writes a counter point with facts you remove that post as abuse. I have no objections in removing my reply but the more You and the so called secular press tries to hide facts, the more will be the rumour mongering and ultimately the very cause you are trying to defend will go in shambles. Keep it up rediff moderator

There may not be Dussehra for hundreds of innocent terros victims either..
by rajesh on Oct 01, 2008 03:02 PM  | Hide replies

Dear Ms Roy,

Do you care for the hundreds of innocent victims who lost their loved ones for no fault of theirs due to terror strikes ?. Even thier families may not be able to celebrate Dussehra or Diwali either. Afterall, Rizwanur's death may be a criminal case under investigation, what offense did those innocent people committ who were murdered by mindless terrorists ?. While trying to gain the 'Secular' image, you might write passionately about one individual simply because he was a mislim, but do show some concern for the innocent Hindus as well, they too are citizens of this country and deserve simpathy and remebrance..

some people will do anything to attract attention. If you want to be known as a secularist then you should pay full attention to the minority only. Even if they commit suicide, as reported in the above case, you should make news out of it.

Mr.Publisher,
I think you become mad. Is this news a 'National' important. What do you want - Should central Government declare a 'National' holiday on 21st Sep. for commemorating death of Rizwanur.
Don't make public and publish biased report. It will be better for you.

seems u are no longer interested in national affairs. India, similar to human body, is 100%, hindu 80%, muslim 20%. If 20% of body is in pain whole body will collapse.. and btw you are a simple atom in it... and you will find some rutherford sooon

How much you contributed to relief of such persons. It is easy to say problems ; it is difficult to solve
