USA has created Islamic Terror: 1) Jimmy Carter created Muzzahadins in Afghanistan 2) Reagan created Zia Ul Haque and Ben Laden 3) Clinton created Taliban 4) Clinton created Islamic state of Bosnia 5) Pakistan created 9/11 and got rewards from USA of $10 Billion so far plus all free weapons 6) George Bush created another Islamic state of Kosovo. 7) USA pushed up oil prices to make the Arab Skeikhs fantastically rich.
Thus, USA will not help India. Obama's father and step father are both Muslims. Those who are thinking just by surrendering India's nuclear weapons USA will be India's friend are the worse kind of stupid.
What are you trying to do? You want to sell the freedom of India (secured after several years of struggle) to the west. This is not expected of CONGRESS. Considering the cost of the nuclear power that could be produced, risk involved in its generation and questionable shortage and urgent demand of uranium everything appears to be very fishy about the whole of the nuclear deal. I feel that there is an international conspiracy behind this whole game and we should not go into this at any cost. Even if we want to produce energy with nuclear technology, it would take at least 5-10 years and then why are we in an undue haste to enter into the nuclear deal now with NSG and US. It looks that you want to throw away the freedom of this country for your whims and fancies. It is necessary to explore other energy options than the nuclear energy. If you get into this in undue haste, you would remain in the history as traitors of this country. Hope that you would not do things in such haste.
I sincerely think that this issue should be brought for a confidence vote in the Parliment,and should be decided in a democratic way . One should understand that even we sign the Deal ,our energy requirements through this deal will be fulfilled only after many years ,and with our brilliant scientist given better facilities will develop this technology indigineously . I think we should learn from Iran ,who are independantly developing their Nuclear technology for Power inspite of the entire world against them .
What matters is the security of the country from nuclear attacks by China and Pakistan and India's freedom to develop nuclear energy freely without being a slave of USA which since 1974 did everything to prevent India from developing nuclear energy. One should never trust USA. Who would be foreign policy adviser of Obama: Albright, who during the reign of Clinton did everything to destroy India. Clinton has created Taliban. He has asked Benazir Bhutto to send 20,000 strong Arab Army to Yugoslavia to create muder and rape against Christians and some of them later were send to Chchenya as well. Clinton tried to stop Russia to send engines for the Indian rockets and sattelites and imposed most draconian sanctions against India. The same Clinton allowed China to export anything it likes to USA but put restrictions on Indian exports. McCain has close links with the US Army and Colin Powell, who declared after visting Vajpayee that Pakistan is the NATO ally of USa. How can you trust USA, who wants to sell its junk obsolete nuclear plants for a fortune. If there would be an accident like Bhupal in 1984, USA will not take any responsibility.
Common man is suffering from inflation, job losses, lack of housing, floods, Gurkha problem, Marati Problem, Muslim problem in Kashmir again: a responsible government should take care of these first.

TRADE IS TRADE AND SHOULD NOT BE TIED WITH POLITICS...
USA has historically entered into trade agreements with all sorts of governments eg communists, dictators, rogue states when it suits its needs. Preaching and practicing is NOT one of USAs strong character quality.
USA is itself fighting vehemently internally for 'clean coal',nuclear power and refineries. Its been at a standstill for 25-30 years--ALL talk.
India similarly has unlimited coal for power generation, solar, wind. For bio diesel we have jathropha plants with 40% oil content, Leaving corn and other plants in the dust. India can produce ALL its oil needs from this plant.
BUSH wants legacy before leaving office. Americas track record as a long term ally is poor, it can change its position at any time, if it does NOT meets its imperialist or foreign policy needs.
Hyde Act MUST be removed from the n-deal. If NOT India will be a colony of USA similar to British. Sonia will have no problem with that, she will be the Viceroy of India. Our tri colors will change to red-white-blue

Left parties don't have any responsibility of keeping the congress government. BJP & Congress are their political rivals.
After last loksabha elections,it was a question of who will rule.. The left became the decision makers.. It is a question of choosing between the sea & the devil... And they selected the sea... And the left support Congress only to keep away BJP from power.
It is for national interest that they supported congress all these 4 years.....
Not present situation regarding N-deal came because of Manmohan Singh's committment to fulfil George Bush's demands.. It is not surprising as everyone know that Manmohan Singh is a man who always work as per USA instructions.The best example is the 1995 GATT & WTO agreements..
If the congress want to sacrifice it's government for American interests,let them do it...Why should the left care about them anymore?
Congress may be thinking that N deal is the biggest problem in India now.. They don't care about the inflation,rising prices,incresing poverty & unemployment..
