If making separate state of Telengana
were suitable to Andhra people and their leaders and if a such formation would be immensely beneficial to Andhra region ,
then a separate Telengana could have emerged long back , may be during their first struggle at the time of Kasu Brahmananda reddy period.

Alas, for Andhra it means losing a famous city , the fifth biggest in India and with a great future.

The demand for a separate Telengana was not new, it was started when I was a kid in 1970.

Andhra land lords deliberately encouraged Naxalism in Telengana , while Andhra land lords much more in number relaxed. Kondapalli seetharamiah was a stooge of the Andra land lords who wanted to teach a lesson to Telengana Zamindars.
Andhra people from far away place grabbed jobs like bus conductors and drivers and not to speak of teachers, lecturers etc., while Telengana reeked under poverty, unemployment.

Andhra people explained that Telengana people were uncivilized and uneducated and hence their jobs!?
My own telegu teacher who was a university ranker from osmania found it extremely hard to get a job while my english teacher swooped on our village all the way from Bhimavaram !!

The point is Telengana people were being exploted ever since the formation of Andhra.
Now Andra's have even grabbed temples in telengana!

If there was no exploitation there would have never been a demand for a separate state even in 1970 much before software or greater Hyderabad.

Tomorrow, you say Andhras grabbed the GODS also... Think of unity and be positive... rather than dividing the people and rule.. like Britishers. These are nothing but creation of differences by politicians..

Andhra people make a mockery of Telengana culture, language and their life style. Which
even a nazi like Nizam the ruler never did.
When goondas are shown on TV serials and Cinemas they would invariably be Telengana people and the decent hero would be a Andhra accent guy.
If Andhra people laugh at Telengana accent (of telugu) they should have common sense to know that Telengana people can laugh at Andhra accent as well.
Dialects are born out of People's troubles ,travails, tears and life. It may depend on temperature as well.
In Andhra region you have different dialects in almost all of districts with very cognizable distinct accent.
Then why these uncultured people laugh at Telengana dialect?
If Telenagana people could tolerate Nine generations of Nizams almost for 400 years of rule why today these same Telengana people are not able to bear with these Andhra region people?

Nizam or the muslims never made jokes about telengana festivals, telengana dialects, never grabbed the opportunities of work from Hindus and never opend restaurants or hotels which served beef.
Even in Chennai , right in the heart of the city you can see the hotel menu , and notice how proudly they announced the beef and its vereities?
Even thouh there is a very high population muslims in Hyderabad city , they did not do anything to hurt the Telengana community.

But today Andhra people have one agenda.
Show telengana people as unclutured brutes and grab their bread and life.

TDP is really put a check point to TRS, Congress and Chiru Party witg a single step. -ve points to these parties, Congress is ruling party and lot of scams, TRS everybody knows how pathetic it is, Chiru Party: No comments
Till now YSR played cards with dual role about Telangana and United Andhra. TRS succesfully failed to attracted the people of telangana with with their power hunger. But people of Telangana really looking for an alternative, so D.goud jumped out of TDP mask and see whathappens next TRS is for Congress, Goud Party is for TDP, this is the combination. Naidu looks like a Chanakya now. What a step, khudos......... see the next election results, TDP is going get into power. All left, right parties will form a group with TDP, and 0.5 parties like congress and TRS will be ultimate loosers...

keep dreaming. This is actually a kick in the ass for CBN who is now no more than a regional leader. With DG's one move Telangana has become relevant and TDP irrelevant to AP politics. The fight is now between congress and all others.

Farmers were affected .. not by CBN.. but by shortage of rains during that time... yes.. ofcourse, he could not concentrate on them and could not help when they required.. But.. in reality, andhra farmers do not require anybody's help, if the rains are in time...

mallaiah anchoori
TDP is a real loser
by mallaiah anchoori on Jun 24, 2008 02:30 AM

With exit of Goud who was number 2 in the party,TDP appears to be heading towards a disaster particularly at a time when it could ill afford any such threat which in turn matters a lot for its election prospects in a region of 9 districts. From all sides, there appears a pall of gloom descending over TDP presenting a dismal and discouraging picture for it from any angle. The encircling uncertainty of support from any other political party to fight with Congress appears to be plaguing the party. It had snapped its connections with BJP which was its main ally in the previous elections.Support from TRS is out of question & is against its very principle of integration espoused profoundly since inception of the party by its supremo late Rama Rao and also by Naidu.Left parties are the most opportunists & can never be relied upon. Chranjeevi's new party about formation of which the rumours are still rife enough may take away some more of its leaders belonging to a particular caste of megastar & split the votes
the political map of Andhra Pradesh remains much strifed as of now that it is confusing for all the parties.Amidst this rough weather of political chaos is really a terrible loss for TDP to lose the leaders who gained some grip over the tilting political situations in Telangana.Time too is very short for its to groom secondary leaders of the region to a level of public prominence & fight the elections in their name.Time only has to say what its future would be precisely.

Hey King.... Its Telangana.... not Telengana.... First learn how to spell it..... you are hurting the sentiments of Telangana region people. Check Wikipedia once. I know you are aggressive, but to show that you are die-heart fan of Telangana and I respect your sentiments, its not necessarily required to comment about others. For an auto ric guy in Hyderabad, it won’t matter which region u r from except his 12Rs minimum charge. Ultimately he is the real Hyderabadi, not u and me….Be cool and watch the game.
